yeah the general opinion online seems to be that it's one of/if not the best season

i'll def watch another season eventually i just binged this today bc i didn't go to sleep last night lmao and it's helped me stay away awake bc i want a healthy sleep patten but yeah it's been amazing (i just finished the reunion) but i really didn't like the boot order/winner

like the fact that alyssa wasn't in the final is just disgusting to me?

I think people were content with the season after the first one being so awful. I remember when the cast was leaked, not may people were excited at first so it was pleasant surprise.

The boot order was definitely hit/miss. I think the format itself brought drama, which was what helped the season's momentum from start to finish. I would have liked Alyssa to be in the final, but ultimately I'm not bothered because I think the writing was on the wall for winner anyway.

In hindsight I think I'd have rather had Tati in the final? I feel like she delivered the most surprises and versatility. I can't say Alyssa changed too much from s5 beyond her makeup and fashion.

But then I'd have rather ginger had more time father than being culled for one runway decision (I still honestly believe she and Alyssa were the top 2 of that week if we're to judge them on the history performance) but hey ho...

There isn't really a bad season to start with apart from allstars 1. Even season 7 had its moments... I just think the new untucked format ****ed over the queens and made the younger fans go H.A.M. for the queens with the bitchier senses of humour.

It's kinda weird that they seem excited to see RuPaul for the first time when they're not of drag (unless that's when Gaga comes in but Ru is wearing the same suit)
And the rumours that the first challange has something to do with flowers might be accurate seeing that awful green look with flowers in the trailer

Pamela Post, SVP for Original Programming and Development at Logo says, “Coming off RuPaul’s Emmy win and a ratings record-breaking season of ‘All Stars,’ the fandom around ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ has only continued to swell as we head into season nine.” With that being said, it’s only right that this time around, these Queens will reach an even broader audience as fans can catch all new episodes Fridays on VH1 followed by encores on Logo.

Excited yet? ’Cause there’s more! A ’Race to the Nines’ series marathon will be airing exclusively on Logo, NONSTOP, beginning Sunday, March 19th at 8/7c. During the marathon, fans will also be able to see bonus content and never before seen footage straight off the cutting room floor, including interviews from former contestants, judges, and super fans. Some of these names may ring a bell: Michelle Visage, Bob the Drag Queen, Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Todrick Hall, and Lance Bass will all be on hand. The marathon leads into the season nine premiere and as stated by the press release, there will also be “a shocking opening that will go down as one of the most jaw-dropping moments in “Drag Race” herstory. In short: Drag Race is still being shown on Logo and VH1 (like All-Stars 2), it's just that the primary network is changing from Logo to VH1 (with encore presentations at 9pm on Logo); and that it'll now be shown on Friday nights (with Untucked probably being uploaded to WOW Presents on Saturday mornings).
