Perhaps flights to and from affected countries should be stopped.

Why are we not already screening people from these areas at airports? It's idiotic not to.Do they want an outbreak over here? Can't mess around with things like this.

Yes it would be,but i can't see that happening.Money and trade are more important than our health in the eyes of the government imo. They won't want to lose all that money just to stop a few of us dying. When this goes out of control the men in charge will be saying things like "we made a mistake","we should have done more" and "we underestimated the severity of this" when they knew all along what was likely to happen.Imo.

Meh, Guy only died because he was released for two days. Not because of Ebola is Ebola.

Notice how the other people infected that were moved to the US haven't died yet.

Dailymail-could isis use ebola as a way of infecting the west?

Researchers say Ebola could be airborne and mutate despite earlier claims it isn't airborne.

We're all going to die. God wipe out the earth with water the first time, this time with ebola. can I be noah? I've been good, kill everyone else.

But seriously this ebola shiz is getting scary. I have a dry throat i'm wondering if it's ebola and yet i'm afraid to go the gp for fear of being infected there.

They absolutely do not have "medication that stops Ebola". Some people's immune systems will be able to fight it off, some won't, Western countries have modern healthcare facilities and drugs (access to IV fluids and nutrition, anti-viral meds) that will help the immune system to do its' job but there is no cure other than that.

Ebola having a lower mortality rate than what is oft-quoted was a given: the death stats are based on outbreaks in areas with poor medical care and most importantly, poor sanitation. All viruses are "more lethal" in poorer countries.
