On a serious note, it does I guess raise some security questions as to the PM that someone could get that close really so quickly.
However,it does just seem to have been an unfortunate incident more than anything sinister.

If someone had run into the president, not "up to the White House", but into the president, I imagine the security would at least have had their hands on their gun, I know I would have. And for the record, I love America! I've lived and worked there. When have I ever displayed anti-American tendencies?

Totally agree, lucky this happened in this Country because the majority of other Countries would have put more than a few bullets into this idiot before he got within touching distance.

I agree with that. Regardless of what party the PM represents and whether or not you agree with his politics, the Premier has to be protected. And yes, the idea that this person was a jogger and it was all a big mistake is ridiculous. I was surprised at how inept his security was, they were taken completely by surprise and at one point Cameron was totally alone and exposed as he made for the car with his security agents at least five or six feet away. I hope there have been some red-faces and reprimands since this happened. Next time it might not be a "drug filled halfwit" (LOL, good description) but someone a bit more serious with a bigger axe to grind.

if you watch the vid the guy runs straight for Cameron, if he was "going to the gym" he would have turned the corner. I think he should be jailed simply for lying. Vile little weasel
