I do. He most likely knew it wasn't going to be the popular opinion or that Winston was going to stay but instead of following the crowd, he followed his heart. I have a lot of respect for that kind of behaviour.

I must say it made me notice him more as an individual housemate.
Up until this point I've just sorta seen him as part of the young group of Steph, Megan and Scotty with none really standing out so far, they seem pretty similar to each other. I actually thought Steph was going to nominate Nancy though and think if they hadn't heard the crowd reaction she might have. Don't get me wrong, Nancy was the person I most wanted to stay tonight, I really like her as housemate so far and Winston was definitely the one I wanted to leave tonight and I still prefer Nancy as a housemate over Jeremy to date. But I don't really see it as a terrible thing that Jeremy voted for who HE wanted to based on how he had been treated in the house by each of them. I think he was vocal that he completely disagreed with Winston's views so I wouldn't say he condoned those views at all. I know that people can read it as that him choosing Nancy over Winston is in some way saying that Nancy is worse or that he somehow is condoning Winston, but I just don't personally view it that way myself. I think he must have known the vast majority of housemates were going to nominate Winston and that he would be evicted anyways, but I think he wanted to make a point of choosing Nancy and getting off his chest his reasons because they really must not be getting along that well with each other or something. I can see other people's points too though or how it can be argued in a different way, but just personally, it wouldn't particularly turn me against him, and it did show me that he might not be the sheep I kinda had him pegged as and is somebody who is not afraid to make their own decisions - even if he knew that decision could make some other housemates and the public turn against him or wouldn't be a popular decision. I might not agree with his choice as I would personally have chose Winston if I was living there, but him nominating Nancy is not a huge deal to me. All it did was make me take proper notice of him as a housemate for the first time really. |

i had no problem with it and dont think he was on Winston's side about his views at all. i expected Angie to be one of the more real ones but her reason was she wanted to keep a lady. ok lol

He has risen to the top in my estimation, and he is everything the two-faced, hypocritical Angie isn't.

I do. I don't care for Jeremy, Winston or Nancy, but it's good that he voted as he thought, instead of just following the crowd.

Yeah, after her rant about him I seriously doubt that was her actual reason. A prime example of a cop out nomination but I don't see anyone complaining about it, vice versa and you'd never hear the end of it.

No. Sometimes theres a clear right or wrong thing to do. Standing alone by doing the wrong thing isnt a commendable trait.

He nominated Nancy so he would have looked a bit of a twat if he then choose to evict Winston, he liked Winston more than Nancy, it is possible to like people without agreeing with their views.
