Interestingly the official ratings for ITV2s Love Island have come out with a strong consolidated 1.25 million viewers in its first week. Compared with last year's 0.50 million viewers and BB16 (timebombs) overall series official of 1.36 million viewers, is it considered more successful than BB, in terms of viewership loyalty, profit etc. For the channels? Also could we see any LI contestants appear in future BB or even CBB series? And is the reason for on par ratings due to LI's success stealing from a typically loyal BB fan base?
