Back on topic anyways.

Iceland is good for some cheap stuff. Some frozen stuff is vile, but shop around at Iceland, Lidl, Aldi, Tesco etc and you can get a weeks shopping including cleaning stuff all for £15 - £20.

They're gross.

I can knock you guys up a proper dinner with fresh veg, some nice meats and sauces, and a dessert from scratch for about £3 (and it would feed 4).

? you is wrong.... :P
private commercial business took out unsecured loans that they believed were more reliable than the were. How's that the problem of the UK government. Should the labour party decide on how companies in the UK invest their money and who they loan money from? So again... how is the INTERNATIONAL financial crisis the fault of the labour government?

guys we could be here all week discussing politics.

But this thread is not about that. Lets get back on topic and talk about £1 food which is value for money.

Arctic Roll is only £1 at Iceland. I love that dessert. Reminds me of being a kid.

For vegetables and some fruit the man who lives down the road grows his own with his wife and they have nore than they need for themselves so they let me have some. It's amazing, tastes great and is free. i offered them some money, but they were like, no it'll only be wasted.

Bless them. Now that is VALUE food!
