I know nothing about the guy, but it looks like he wants to keep it afloat.. Setanta needs to be back at 43 English Premier League games but Len must know he can not match Mr Murdock.
Money talks and Len will have to invest heavy to out bid Sky in the future.
Ahhh he owns 3% of Setanta already.

Even worse News that American with the 30 million offer
has withdrawn.

So it looks as though they will now Fold
and Sky will take the deals left.

Setanta Sports Customers from England, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, please be advised that it is with great regret that Setanta GB is no longer trading.

Setanta Sports is still operating in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. Customers from ROI and NI should go to www.setanta.com/ie for more information.

Setanta Sport Limited
Setanta Transmissions (UK) Limited
Setanta Sports S.a.r.l
(All In Administration)
(together "the Companies")

On 23 June 2009, Neville Kahn, Lee Manning and Nick Edwards were appointed Joint Administrators of the Companies and now manage the affairs, business and property of Setanta Sport Limited and Setanta Transmissions (UK) Limited and Setanta S.a.r.l.. The Joint Administrators contract as agents of the Companies and without personal liability
Doesn't mention what happens to direct debit?

Tom you may find it is lost , for now.
Until they put something on the site.
Being Bankrupt means customers are last in the list.

I assume you can stop paying
from your end.

I presume so - keep looking out for updates though in case anything changes.

If you've got Sky phone them up and say you want to cancel Sky Sports or something, they'll offer you a discount. I do it all the time and last time got 10% off for 6 months plus free HD so atm I'm paying £33

Might not get the same offer but might get something. And if they do just cancel you then just subscribe again or say you'll think about it
