There ought to be a comma after the word "addition". And, thanks for sharing that link, I suppose.

No, I'm pretty sure there's no hyphen.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe that someone offered a place at Mensa would find TIBB sufficiently mentally stimulating.

I'm not claiming to be a member of Mensa.

You are. And you wrongly hyphenated vice versa and spelt 'vice' as 'vise'. In addition to your plethoa of other abortive traits.

As a trivial little footnote your argument has been directly copy and pasted from the following link : http://www.whitesmoke.com/using-hyphens.

And the part you copy and pasted bore no contextual relation and does not support an argument supporting the use of a hyphen in 'vice versa'.

In fact it directly rallies against it given that the term appears - unhyphenated - in that bit of copied text.

What an outrageous statement. Not all people at MENSA believe that intelligence is the way to everything. Of course it isn't: there's far more to life than education and intelligence. Stop stereotyping people.

Thank you.

Oh, of course! I spelled the phrase incorrectly! Don't know why I did that. Thanks for spotting that for me. I'm sure I'm going to tell all my friends about the wonderful discovery I've made.

On a more serious note, cheers for that.

The Purpose of Mensa (quoted from their website):

'to provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment for its members'
'to identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity'
'to encourage research into the nature, characteristics, and uses of intelligence'

I'm but that sounds like the complete opposite of TIBB and as if people applying need somewhere that stimulates them. Therefore why would you apply in the first place if you didn't agree with 'the purpose of Mensa'.

Again... it's Mensa. Not MENSA. It is Latin for 'table'.

Yes, because what people need is to be constantly crammed with information without ever receiving a bloody break.

Members of MENSA do not come here for "stimulation purposes; they come here for relief. You cannot expect people to be exposed to a world that knows only mathematics, English and reasoning: surely, those people deserve some sort of break, don't they?

Mensa didn't do much for your memory I see -selective it seems. A bit odd don't you think that you can't recall your actual score but can recall the variance levels and the percentile!!

ps. It is Mensa. Not MENSA. It's not an acroymn.

I'll spell words how I want, thank you. Whether or not it's worthy of a hyphen is entirely at my discretion. OK, maybe it doesn't comply with the correct grammatical rules of English, but have you ever considered whether I, personally, feel like putting a hyphen in?

Anyway, I thought you didn't like me. Why talk to me, then? Not having a go, but your views are confusing.
