Good news that he is showing small signs of improvement and well done to the brilliant medical team looking after him.

This is just awful. Surely even if he makes a full recovery it will be the end of his career anyway? Poor lad.

First thing he said when he woke up and saw his manager apparently
"Did we lose?" What a man.

He's still got a long way to go, but really glad to see he seems to be coming back.

Fabrice Muamba is talking and even laughing as he shows further signs of recovery from a cardiac arrest, Tottenham Hotspur player Emmanuel Adebayor has suggested.
The Bolton Wanderers midfielder has been fighting for his life at the London Chest Hospital since he collapsed during his team's FA Cup clash with Spurs on Saturday. The 23-year-old's heart did not start beating on its own for nearly two hours after he fell on the pitch. Spurs striker Adebayor told Sky News the player was showing a major improvement in his condition after visiting him in hospital. "He is much better, he recognises people and can talk (and) that's the most important thing for me," he said. "We just have to keep praying for him. He is a strong guy and I think he's been through a lot during these two days but he's back to normal and he's trying to talk normal and he's acting normal, which is very important." Asked if Congo-born Muamba was laughing, Adebayor said: "All African people always have a smile on their face, so we are always laughing. It's part of our life." Good news. read more |

This is quite sad in a way. It shows how much he cares about football and his team, when I very much doubt he will be able to play again. Even if he wants to(which I would think he does) it will be impossible to insure him now I would imagine :/

Yes a donation by the club would be a nice gesture and to the ambulance service, he was a very lucky young man.

Would hate to work in that London Chest Hospital..amazing people in there..
Heard a good 'un just now Wayne Rooney has visited Fabrice Muamba in hospital. "It's great, he can almost string a sentence together" said Fabrice. |
