Default Bea - people say I\'m too loud.

Egregious Bea said people think she is too loud - surely this can't be true.

Is it true she has been sacked from every job she has had?

You know... now that you mention it, this does make sense with the inability to keep a job. I have certainly worked in places (mainly hospitals, sad to say) where there has been a drama monger. They always have to be in a fight with someone and will slag them off to everyone else. They generally don't last long. I bet she is like that.

Women who are loud and hold their own might make weaker men feel intimidated. Weak women envy them.

Some people in work environments want to better the system and don't mind stepping on a few toes to do it. Some people just clock off at the end of the day and feel dead inside :P

Go Bea

While what you said may or may not be true, it really isn't relevent to Bea. No one is talking about her being a strong woman. We were discussing the fact that she is constantly slagging someone off. She always has a whipping-boy. That has nothing to do with wanting to make an environment better. And I know PLENTY of women who are strong and intelligent and sometimes loud, but they don't have to stoop to that sort of behavior. Strong does not equal bitchy.

i'm not sure how you have made the staggering leap that Bea's behaviour is indicative of her being a potential champion of the workplace !!

quite fanciful

all her behaviour has been about how she thinks other people relate to her or what she perceives of them thinking about her...

topic header says "people say I'm too loud". You linked "loud" with "drama monger" when you typed that here in this thread. Loud and passionate behaviour could be interperted by softer spoken folk as being overly "dramatic" or even "evil"

i think cybele merely stated as having worked with drama-mongers ... it wasn't qualified beyond that ..

anyway........

Cybele spoke about her work and made the link to Bea ...not me.

I'm just talking of "types" of people I've worked with too. This isn't me indirectly implying anything about Cybele.

Some very strong people can be very gentle. When somebody becomes a "bitch" is because that person is not strong enough
