I don't know the *exact* details because I haven't been watching the LF in detail... The only info I gathered is from this board..But basically the gist is that all HM's received a message from home from a *clos* family member. When Bea got a msg from a friend instead, there were obvious signals being given out by her family. That's my interpretation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Exactly. The actions of Big Brother organizers this year have really hindered the show. What the heck is the point of this contact from home? There's literally three weeks left. Could they not have waited

Does anyone else not think it's strange for her own family to turn their back on her

If it was a deliberate attempt to send out a signal about her behaviour then maybe there's an explanation and reason behind it. But I do think it's quite strange regardless. They could have actually communicated with her regardless. V strange

Really.. any ordinary person of average wit who has the opportunity to watch the first half, study it, rerun it, know all the polls and surveys can wreak havoc, and, I absolutely despise New HMs and returning HMs. Hate it. Blows the whole premise and derails the 'arc' and robs us of one of the most interesting aspects where HMs have no idea who is perceived and why and what happened and are deprived of feedback. For F's sakes.. they BLOCK THE CROWD NOISE, yet, Just invite people in to just tell everyone everything. But the first half of this season sucked and sucked hard and was only looking to get worse, duller and more useless. So, Really BB just had to say 'Eff it!' and anything goes and who care and whatever causes the most drama or stupidity or any sort of action. Would it be asking too much to see a season that actually went by the premise and concept of Big Brother? Apparently yes. |

Even if Bea's mum not coming was not a pre-aranged code, and her mum is actually proud of her (ROFL). The fact that she did not see a family member would be enough to put a lot of doubt into her head.
Maybe BB wants her to walk before she becomes even more hated? |

Does Bea not realise that just because SHE is a publicity seeker, doesn't mean her mum wants to be!

I do not like letters from home either unless its near the end of the season and there is ZERO reference to anything outside.. ..and I don't even like that. |

It's all mind games.
If it fcukks with the housemates's minds, then it's fine by me. Have they heard- from over the wall- this year- " Get Bea the Biatch out?" I think BB could be a lot harder but they had to ease off the break somewhat after the Shilpa Shetty incident. |

Bea was informed her mother didnt wish to be on TV,
http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/b...839471/view.c4 Whether she had prearranged that as a code for not going down too well with the public is open to debate. One thing for sure she will milk it to try and gain sympathy both in the house and with the viewing public. Letters from home is a way of mucking with the housemates minds, they tend to mull over the messages looking for hidden signals. It can also weaken their resolve and induce homesick feelings in some. It is of course open to abuse by any and all housemates, to have a predetermined series of codes. However BB being what it is they didnt know 100% that it would again be a feature this year. |

bea was trying to get sympathy and realised she went too far with rodrigo and her plan backfired as everyone is sick of her moaning so she started saying she is going to be put up so she is going...until charlie told her in her ear she was safe...then she seemed to cheer up

Hmmmm. I think my parents reaction to a situation is a dead giveaway to what is going on.
Bad obvious move by BB. Bea deserves to get kicked out on her ear on eviction night and face the public venom. Giving her an easy way out is plain wrong. BB seem to have no plan with this season. Tasks are crap, no secret missions or individual tasks etc. Very dull. |

Don't be so gullible, it's exactly what she wants. She wants to be hated because is generates a lot of publicity for her.
