Most factions of the Christian Faith do not believe in non believers being sent straight to 'hell', nor does most schools of Islam.

In the Christian faith believing in Jesus and living your life according to his teaching will get you into heaven, not knowing of him and living a good life will also get you into heaven.

In Islam there is heaven and hell (Jannah which has 8 levels and Jahannam has 5), both have different levels, after death and before the Judgement Day the person will stay at a level suitable for their beliefs and the way they live their lives. After Judgement you go to heaven or hell.

If you think about it, both religions have a fair, just and loving God as their head, sending people to hell for not having had the opportunity to learn about Jesus/Allah isnt exactly fair or just is it?. Though some preachers/mullahs etc would have people believe otherwise. Thats mainly to get people into their particular belief system.

All that is well and good in text. But it's not how the Priests and Imams preach it is it. Come on...

Thats priests and mullahs isnt it? Perhaps they will be the ones going to hell because of their hell and damnation preaching. There might be a few surprises at the End of Days.

Simply going to church/the mosque, and praying doesnt guarentee anyone entry into heaven. In both religions its how 'God' views how people have lived their lives.

What are we even on a about? God, hell and heaven don't exist. They all prech shyte which a lot of people seem to eat up. If people are good people because they are religious fair enough. But I don't need a religion or a God to be a good person.

A valid point but insulting people by saying someone is being idiotic by believing in God isnt exactly winning the religious over is it? If they want to hedge their bets and ensure a ride on the "Glory train to heaven" thats up to them really.

Yep, but aggressive atheism is quite new. They have had that attitude for years.
