Default None of them will have a long term music career.

This years batch were pretty awful.Ollie is a joke-Joe's got a good voice but is so bland and inoffensive it's unreal.Only very young girls will care what he does next. And Cheryl Cole is,in reality,a robot.

Olly and Joe are going to flop, unless they get sent down the right route.

Danyl might do well in America but i'm not sure. Stacey is probably the only one with potential, as is Lucie (although i'm not sure she'll get signed). Jedward will be a one hit wonder before heading to Butlins and finishing off by becoming the next TMi presenters. I think Lloyd will get signed to a modelling agency, but if not, then I can also see him flopping unless they send him down the right route.

The attention given to Jedward was a sad inditement of the purile society we live in.Apparently the little twerps claim they are gonna save pop music.I'd remind them of Paul Dannan-On leaving Love Island the tabloids claimed he was going to do a film with SpeiLberg and make a rap album. The only thing he ended up doing was heroin.

Yes, Joe has a very good voice - why should the fact that he is fairly quiet and not a loud mouth mean he is bland. Last night proved that over 6 million people don't agree with that ridiculous statement. I am not a very young girl - and I think he has a great future ahead of him!

it's all down to what style of music they decide to do, and they need to take their time and not rush into things (like eoughan or whatever his name is)

They wanted to make sure the support from girls was still there. They should've given him till October to produce new material and then made sure he was promoted well.

The way he was treated was totally unfair.

I disagree... I think joe will have a good career, he is more interesting than Leon, and for the amount of people and percentage he got... many people will buy his music.

This.

I find it sad that your posts often get overlooked on here. You speak sense, unlike some others.

No XF contestant will. Joe will get 2-3 albums at most. Olly and Stacey will probably get one each.

It's all about how they're marketed though really.

Eggnogg Quigg coulda had some sucess-he was very popular at the time.Problem for these acts is they cant write songs and the best material is saved for the likes of Leona. They get left with the dross and the public loose interest.

I'm not sure about Quigg, but you have a valid point about the fact that they have no material. Unless a good songwriter is prepared to work with some of the acts, they have no chance realistically.

I used to hate it when they took the piss out of him and his name, but I have to admit that's piss funny.

I was obsessed with him last year

Thanks! I like your posts too!

I do sometimes get that impression - but don't really care - as I just like to voice my opinion - regardless of what some on here might think.

It is nice though to come across like-minded people!
