I just think he's tackling broader issues right now, which don't really do justice to his interviewing style, you know? He's better in close knits communities or groups that, ok, have an edge to them, but are also very odd and perculiar, just like him!

His documentary on Dublin wasn't great though. Was expecting more off it. Seemed a bit rushed.

I think so. Seems so long ago. Now he'd rather dance on ice and do Come Dine With Me. Talk about a change of direction

You have to do the right thing at the time and luckily for Henry it paid off These things don't happen by coincidence he had the brains to stick his hand out and somehow pick out Gallas
EXACTLY.

Him doing that gave france 1.096 billion euro!

Not sure how but sky said it would have been about 180m for ireland if they went through.

Henry was smart, anyone who thinks ANY player put in henrys position would do otherwise is just talking rubbish..

Your little handball could get your team into the world cup, guarantee any player would.

Possibly - but quite doubtful, and let's not forget, the repercussions would have been different if an Irish player had done it. That's the problem I have with the whole thing.

Platini would have condemned it publicly, as well as Blatter and the rest of Fifa - who, incidentally, never mentioned the handball on their website - and Ireland would have been backed into a corner where they would have felt obligated to ask for a replay, even though they would have done it anyway.

Some of the groups on facebook have got seriously racist in connection with blaming the whole thing directly on immigrants lol, they should remember it's not immigrants that run our country, Its English people, so if the shirts get banned, it's English people making the dumb decisions, cant blame every other non-English person because some idiot in office is scared of a couple of twats with big mouths

Fifa had no say in the matter if the French Football Association decided to have a replay. That was Ireland's only chance of having one seeing as Blatter and Fifa hardly even acknowledged it.

And what did Platini say about the whole matter? Remember, this is the guy who condemns English football as well as any cheating that he sees. He never said a word. Ar$eholes the lot of them.

And don't get me started on how they decided to seed the play offs. That's never been done before.
