Yes...I loved it.
Nemesis is really good, so is air. And oblivion, short but brilliant, my sister nearly fell out of that one though, the strap thing that goes over your shoulders didnt lock properly :/

You have to cue up for Rides that hardly last half a minute I prefer the less mainstream theme parks |

You can get a fast track ticket for most of the rides though, and practically jump right to the front of the queue, as long as you go within a certain time. And you can print out as many of them as you want too

Yeah, I go quite a lot. I normally go in the week so that there aren't any queues. Use the single rider queue's to get on quicker too.
Th13teen is awesome. I really love it but a lot don't. Nemesis is amazing. The best ride there and worth queuing a very long time for. Rita is good also. Air I don't think is anything special, and I don't like Oblivion. It's my fave theme park. <3

Oh god, Alton Towers. Where do I start? I'm an absolute Alton Towers geek. Alton is a very big place and there's a good variety of rides there.
Rollercoaster wise you've got: Oblivion - World's first vertical dropping rollercoaster. Oblivion is the most intense rollercoaster out of all the ones at Alton(due to the fact you get dropped vertically into the ground). Nemesis - Europe's first inverting Rollercoaster. Air - World's first 'flying' rollercoaster. Rita - Was Europe's fastest coaster in '04, obviously that's now changed over the years. Th13teen(New for '10) - The world's first freefall dropping rollercoaster. It's not as thrilling as the other Alton coasters but I thought it was really worth the wait and is a great new addition to the theme park. The indoor part of the ride when all effects are working really takes you by surprise first time. There's loads of things to so there. The staff are very friendly too. If you want to avoid being caught up in large queues there's single rider queues on some of the rides. Also there's Fastrack tickets available to buy which means you completely avoid queueing at all. I'll stop before I really get carried away and write too much on the place but in summary Alton is a great place, I certainly enjoy visiting Alton. It is expensive but I think it's worth the money. If you want any more info on the place just ask. I've also got a high quality picture of the map of the theme park if you want me to upload that? |

Thorpe Park > Alton Towers fo' real.
Although Alton Tower's is a much nicer park, Thorpe Park shits on Alton Towers rollercoaster/rides wise. |

Yeah, Thorpe is more thrill based where'as Alton is more of something for everyone. I've never liked Thorpe though, it just seems to chavvy there :P

Yeah that's what sucks about Thorpe Park, there's a lot of chavs, and is no where near as nicely kept and interesting as Alton Towers, but I prefer going to theme parks for the rides so Thorpe Park wins hands down for me

Ride queues can be a pain in the butt - start early and never go on English Bank Holidays.
I love Alton Towers as very scared of heights, but their rides have to be close to the ground by their planning permission. |
