I don't know if Colobus monkey is more or less offensive than gorilla fur, whatever it's made of, I don't find Pete's coat offensive in the least, fur is lovely and soft and warm. I will roll my eyes at whatever I want, how do you plan to stop me? |

Intelligence and compassion? I've got plenty. I'm intelligent enough to realize whinging about animal rights won't bring a coat back to life, and compassionate enough to feel sorry for Pete that so many people are judging him by a single piece of clothing, so how's that? |

Not intelligent enough to realize that whinging about animal rights will stop more animals dying though
and not compassionate enough not to dislike jodie for reasons that you can;t even come up with.... (brainwash) and that single piece of clothing is very telling let's face it. |

Actually, whinging about animal rights does little towards things being stopped.
Personally, I'd rather not become an animal-rights obsessive, you'll only get lumped in with the nutcases who release minks into the wild, disrupting the eco-system, or terrorize lab workers for doing their job. I don't like Jodie, I have my reasons, and don't see why I should tell them to someone as stand-offish as you. The only thing that Pete's coat says about him is that he accepted a gift from his boyfriend, it doesn't make him monster. |

Some people just have to take it too far don't they.
As for Pete's fur coat how do we know the animal did not die of natural causes? |

Actually Fernzy, I'm with ally on this one. People don't wait for animals to pass away peacefully in their sleep before they skin 'em and turn 'em into coats.

Did anyone see that Duck Farm on C5 news yesterday?
Very disturbing, all those ducks watching their 'mate' die painfully and slowly. Shocking. |

Talking of Dying animals, did anyone see Gordon Ramsay'f F word before Christmas where they were "stunning" the turkeys to be made for Someone's dinner. This was shown at 5.00pm , there coulda been little kiddies in front of the TV screen there! It was cruel and there should be a 9pm watershed for all this crap to be happening. |

i think jodie needs to have a bit more decency. i mean going out just wearing a belt for a bra?
i don't have much respect for people who choose to do that kind of thing. |
