Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that Manchester City feels like a bigger club than Arsenal.

The Togo striker was thought to be in line for an Eastlands exit following Manchester City 's signing of Mario Balotelli . However, Adebayor was selected in Roberto Mancini's 25-man Premier League squad and believes that with the caliber of players at their disposal, Manchester City are bigger than the Gunners.

Asked by FHM if City felt bigger than Arsenal, Adebayor replied, "Yeah it does feel like that… With the great new players we've got we have a wonderful chance to make history.

"But it's all about results. If we can win ten games in a row, people will class Manchester City as bigger than Arsenal."

The 26-year-old is set to further antagonize Arsenal fans as he commented on his controversial goal celebration against the Gunners last season.

Adebayor said, "I showed the fans my hunger, passion and I showed my love for the club… Ultimately, the fans just want to see that and feel it inside their bodies."

Dutch winger Arjen Robben says Tottenham have signed one of the best midfielders in the world in Rafael Van Der Vaart , and has compared him with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas .

“With Rafa on board, Spurs really do have one of the very best midfield players in the Premier League, maybe even the best," Robben told the Star.

“I don’t know why he didn’t join Bayern in the end. I really wanted him but Spurs have bought a gem.

“In terms of his vision, his range of passing, his ability to split a defence and his eye for goal he is as good as Cesc Fabregas , Steven Gerrard and of course Frank Lampard.

“He is that bridge for Spurs that makes them go from a very good Premier League club to a team capable of taking on and beating any side in Europe on their day.”

“When you consider the amount of money Real Madrid and Manchester City have spent on players, it’s almost unbelievable to think what Spurs reportedly paid for Rafa.

“Madrid almost gave away one of the best players in the world – but that’s their style.

“They got rid of me and Wesley Sneijder in the same summer and I went on to win my domestic league and get to the Champions League Final while Wesley went on to win the Treble and become the best player in the world.

“Madrid’s mistake will very much be Spurs’ gain.

“I knew of his interest in England and that van Persie had been speaking with him about how great life in London was.

“I think when Robin was trying to convince him how great London and the Premier League was, it was as though he was trying to convince him to join Arsenal.

“It’s kind of backfired on Robin a little bit now, though, because he has signed for their biggest rivals.

"Before Rafa signed, I’d still have had Arsenal down as the stronger team – but now I don’t think there is anything between them.”

“For fans who have not seen a lot of him, I would compare him to Cesc Fabregas . He can play out wide, but his ideal position is playing in the middle of the park as playmaker.

“Spurs can play him as they wish but he is by far the most talented player in their squad. If they don’t build the team around him in the middle, it will be a big waste.”

Robben and Adebayor are off their rockers laughable LOL

Chels, Bellamy and Bale - yes, superb.

The other names you listed are not international class. None of them what so ever. We had two strikers at STFC last season better than Morison.

So the reason your ****, is because you have a very, very **** side bar Bale and Bellamy.

Ok, i exaggerated in saying he's ****, but he is definitely over-rated.

He doesn't score regularly enough to be classed as one of the best players in the world.

Even some people say he's better than Messi which is complete bollocks, i just don't see the big fuss made about him, is it cause compared to his strike partner Berbatov he's a footballing genius?

If his injury was really that bad he could have refused to play, i know it's the World Cup so you don't want to miss that kind of opportunity but if it's denting your reputation to score goals that much then why would he want to play? He clearly wasn't enjoying it as proved at the end of the Algeria game LOL!

Gerrard Houllier set to be new Aston Villa manager.

Wayne Rooney is getting back to his best, genius move by Capello putting him in the centre forward position however why can't he play Gerrard behind him which is what lots have been calling for.. he created the goals for Defoe and all round play is impressive IMO.

I'm warming to the Houllier appointment

Won things with Liverpool then suffered a heart problem and then turned to crap, but he looks good again and will keep our youth system strong and bring foreign flair that we need which MON was so hesitant to introduce

These player revolt rumours might be nonsense, however I can see why the likes of Freidel and Warnock are worried after what happpened when they were at Anfield but the Villa squad is small and will need rotating.

2010 no players..

We have had at least 2 players in the squad since ive been alive at the major tournaments.. And lets be honest, walcott should have been in the squad this year.

There were just better players at Liverpool at the time, I don't see it being a problem
