when they were doing hair, talking about beyonce. This myth is really annoying!!! Beyonce has curly hair i think between shoulder and bra strap and sometimes yes she does wear lacefront. Black woman can have long and straight hair, they're not always weaves and many videos on youtube prove this. Here are a few I gathered. It's true black women in the public eye do no favors by mostly wearing weaves, but for the most part as well as to add lenght it's to protect the hair from constant blowdrying and flat ironing which is very damaging.

The problem is most of the products they sell does more harm than good for afro hair. It's all about education...not all black women have to wear weave but unfortunately that's all we see on tv. Just had to get that off my chest

Yeh Black hair can be straight. I had staright hair for a phase when I was 14 LOL! But I thought I looked ridiculous!!!

But if you dont know that, Just look at Didier Drogba! HE doesnt have a weave, but he's got straight hair. Just by using a relaxant or something!

Beyonces hairweaves have improved drastically since the early DC days. I remember being quite shocked at how awful her hair was back then.

There's a black woman on Paris Hiltons BFF(USA) who has the worst hairline Ive ever seen on a wig! Looks like she got it at the dollar store.

yes. Or if you don't want a relaxer, just use a flat iron as above. Lady one doesn't relax her hair nor does lady 3 Lol

see that's all you see on tv which leads you to believe that's the only way black womens hair is. Black women don't have a hair product shop in every corner that's one problem. where as white people can easily access their products at boots, superdrug, corner shop even. when I went to Milton keynes I saw just one not very good black hair shop

It's time for me to open up a hair salon in the uk

btw beyonce doesn't always wear weave. here she is on an off day

Er, I do see real black women in the real world so I do know what real, natural black hair looks like, thanks.

But lets not pretend Beyonce ever goes au naturel coz she don't. But some weaves can look really cheap and nasty. I guess its about what you can afford.

look above for non weave beyonce and when you see her hair extra curly on holidays. natural. Plus look at destiny child as children they all had hair. Black people generally don't put weaves on childrens hair. here is bee as a kid



yes some women do go out with hair that doesn't always look good, but so does any race. Above (the videos) are examples that not all black is "cheap and nasty weaves
