What did we all think, then?
I thought some bits were very funny, but the bit at the very end about being 'futile' and 'weeing on jeans' was just stupid - the scriptwriter should be shot! Alistair as Paul was excellent, although Paul wasn't the one who said 'know what I mean' all the time - it was Liz!! Ronni as Helen needed a lot more work - she didn't sound or look like her at all - totally wrong hair colour for a start. I would give them 6/10 - could do better! :santa: :rudolph: :xmas: |

I'll have to reserve judgement. My cousin is fast asleep in the room with the video. When he finally makes it up, we're going for a brisk family walk down the beach. The suspense is killing me!
I did see a brief clip as a trailer, and Ronni didn't sound like Helen at all. Just a Welsh person, but not THAT Welsh. I read the bit about the jeans and I cringed too, but thought perhaps I was being over-protective. I think it was quite obvious from comments about Helen and Paul being the loudest people in the house made it apparent that he hadn't really seen that much of the show. Oh well, perhaps they can work on those points for the next time! I'm looking forward to watching it later anyway. |

Whoops - hope I haven't given anything away, Feefs. I don't think I have anyway!
Look forward to hearing your opinion. :xmas: |

I thought it would have been much worse, although they did have me in tears of laughter the whole way through the program

I've got it on video, so I could probably post it to you. You may have to wait, as I recorded half of the BBCs output for the day, and haven't watched it yet.

I watched the programme until they did the skit. Luckily it was on early into the programme. I was having to watch it on another television from the main one.
After the skit I was able to switch off. I was not that impressed with Mr McGowern |
