Default Wagner to Win. Not because he is any good....

But only to totally piss off Cowell and Cole.

the show is a sham now. Anyone with any talent will get a deal - that's a given, so the winning place really means nothing anymore.

For that reason: I want Wagner to win - I love watching C & C's faces every week that Wagner is announced to have made it through to the next week. Retribution at it's finest. You have to love it!!

Her face last week (and Cowell's as he looked over to her, giving her the 'WTF Wide rolling eyes look).... FAF !!!

More of the same this week please. Waiting to see their reactions is better than the show itself !!

he would never be allowed to win, Cowell would introduce something to ensure that if he is anywhere near the final couple of weeks!

I am wanting one of Danni's acts for the win, personally feel she is the better mentor, better judge plus that would also have the desired effect on smuggy cowell and cole

I like Dannii but she's not been doing any favours to Matt or Aiden lately IMO

I like the idea of this. It would completely undermine the creditability of this so called 'talent' contest. King Simon does so much manipulation that's its about time the fans did something just to show him they, and not him, ultimately decide who wins.

i agree with that Fruitcake, I think she will turn it around though

With Aiden she has been keen to push his boundaries, not always working well for him but I do like that they will try something different occasionally

With Matt I think she has been so blinded by his falsetto range that she has promoted that ... but time for a change as he is turning in to a 1 trick pony and as my fave i would love to see him do something more uptempo and see a little personality out of the lad

It will be interesting to see their song choices this week (still nothing confirmed on these 2) but i hope she has a better week for them

Big step for a hint. The reason I want him to win is made VERY CLEAR in my opening post.

Totally disagree, especially in respect of Aiden. His James Bond version was executed very well.

I can't agree with that Pyramid,The Xfactor may aswell finish altogether if people are just going to vote to piss people off,I'de like Matt to win as i think he deserves to and why should his dream be spoilt because of voters trying to piss people off?The good ones may well get a deal, but it is still not the same as winning is it?I enjoy The XFactor and would hate it to finish like this.

He created the show,no Simon no XFactor, imo.the idea imo is a bit spiteful.

I dont agree at all. The shows already a farce. It became a farce when Cheryl put thru two singers who didnt even sing. The judges know who they want to win and they're clearly giving them preferential treatment. Simon needs a reality check to stop this farce and go back to an actual 'talent' contest. Wagner winning would certainly give him something to think about regarding the direction his showing is going.

I agree the idea is spiteful, but what is also spiteful is that a talented singer like TreyC is clearly not getting a decent chance. She's given harder songs to sing than Golden girl Katie, her styling is horrendous and not surprisingly most people dont think she has any chance of winning. I feel more strongly about the way she's being treated than I would if Simons little games were undermined by a Wagner win.

Trouble is though GiRTH,do you really think it would pee Simon off THAT much?he doesn't seem to care too much this year and i think that could be down to the protest last year of the XFactor number one,so imo it's already happening the voters are going to spoil it for everyone as it will just be pulled,I was also annoyed that the Cher and Katie were put through that shouldn't have been, surely it is THEM voters should be targetting, get them out, that would piss Simon and Cheryl off much more than anything else.Voters have their chance to show Simon and Cheryl WHO is in charge, but they are keeping the girls in!!for some reason.

Totally agree. The two golden girls need to go to really get under Simon's skin, but I'd love it if Wagner won just to see what Simon would do with him.

Also, I'd be looking forward to next years auditions. Simon wouldn't be able to tell anyone they cant sing cuz then they'd simply point out that neither could Wagner and he won. It'd be great TV just to see him squirm.

Well contrary to people who think Wagner winning wouldn't piss Simon off because he's getting money at the end of the day - I think it would piss him off enormously. He's lumped with a guy who can't sing under a Ł1million recording contract for a minimum of a year I believe; he has to do SOMETHING with him and he knows that the public wouldn't care beyond Wagner winning, so he'd be massively out of pocket there; then he has to deal with the seriously undermining that Wagner winning would cause on the show. I agree with GiRTh, it's an absolute farce that someone like Treyc who can sing so very well is, by all of us, being written off because she's not been portrayed as a potential pop star. The whole show is a joke, the only people trying to battle through it are Dannii Minogue and the contestants. Let Wagner carry on as far as he can go - at least he represents the original idea behind the X Factor, that anyone off the street can walk in, audition and do well.

On the one hand, I can see why people are doing this. the blatant manipulation is just beyond a joke now, its always been there, but this year it is more in your face...and it would be hilarious to see Simons face being lumbered with someone who cannot sing at all and having to give him a recording contract

On the other hand, its very spiteful towards the better singers in the competition. It is not their fault...and they should be given a chance to achieve their dreams.

But, to be honest, most of the talented people will get some form of deal anyways...

I'm a bit torn :/

I agree, but the number of fantastic singers we've seen on the show that have finished lower than 4th place is surely well into the double figures, yet none of them have gone on to be successful. I think Jedward and Chico (both considered as joke acts) are probably the most successful in terms of acts that got nowhere near the final but sold well in the charts for a period of time. Wagner is just one guy, if he made the top 5 at the expense of, say Matt, then clearly Matt didn't have the popularity to sustain a career, and any attempt he made at a solo career would reflect that. I see Wagner as the benchmark for success basically, if you go out before Wagner then you aren't going to make it in the music business.

Yeah I guess so.

Then again, if this campaign to get him to win is successful, then that means noone else will make it in the music business

I didnt realise chico had done anything in the charts either...god I loved him

And Simon's merry-go-round of shoving people down our throats will be abruptly stopped!

Maybe not, they might just up the campaign to get their chosen winner next year.

And simon might end up having more say in who actually gets through :/
