Default Will Wagner win?

The crowning of a quality X Factor winner may be sabotaged by viewers, as millions continue to vote for Wagner Carrilho simply to vex Simon Cowell.

The X Factor joke has been tipped by bookmakers to make it through to the very end of the contest.

Week after week, the public have voted to keep the Brazilian singer in the ITV reality show - against the judges' wishes.

According to internet leaks Wagner is regularly in the top half of the results, despite most of us admitting he's tone deaf.

Fans are determined to keep him on the show to annoy Simon and for many it seems he's the perfect antidote to the polished style of the show.

Wagner recently won over more fans by criticising the shows boss, he said: "Nobody tells Simon Cowell what to do. The public do not decide who is going to win The X Factor. It is Simon Cowell."

A Facebook group urging the public to vote for him has more than 30,000 members. One fan wrote: "I want him to win and throw a spanner in the works of Simon Cowell 's obscene money-making machine."

Meanwhile, the website votefortheworst.com has also been urging people to sabotage the show. The site declared yesterday: "The UK have done it again, after the 54-year-old survived Sunday's vote."

The same effect has been happening over on Strictly Come Dancing with viewers voting to keep the worst contestant, Ann Widdecombe, on the show.

She survived another week despite coming last in the judges' scores. Her foxtrot was described as ''laboured'' and ''disorientated'' yet the public voted anyway.

Last year it was Rage Against the Machine that campaigned to keep the X Factor winner away from a Christmas number one, but this year it seems it's the shows viewers themselves who are running their very own 'Wagner style' boycott.

Do you think it's fair fans boycott the show? Are you one of the people voting for Wagner?

I do vote for him now -hides-

Not to annoy Simon, but because he is basically the only one who makes me smile now, the others all seem boring in comparison. And also to see Cheryls face week after week when he goes through

I think it is likely he will make the final, but I can't see him winning.

They reckon fans of acts that have gone out are now giving Wagner their votes. He just might pull this off. It'd be brilliant.

He won't, the same stories were popping up last year with Jedward. He'll be just ahead of the bottom 2 like they were. It would be glorious to see him win though.

This is a different situation to Jedward though, every week hes picking up more 'anti cowell' votes...

He's in the top half every week. No where near the bottom. It'd be great if he won.

Rather him than Rebecca, but speaking from experience it is annoying as **** when he gets more votes than your favourite, an I actually like him.

He's 9/1 at paddy power now aswell :\

It's only the stories making it seem like he's getting somewhere, I'd love him to win but he won't.

There's voting 'leaks' every year and the results released at the end always put paid to them. According to the leaks last year Jedward pretty much won every week.

How do you figure that? If he has never been in the bottom two, he is even less likely to be the bottom of the vote...

its actually probably better for him if it is just the public vote...that way ONLY the bottom ONE gets kicked out. if he hit the bottom TWO with the judges vote still there, he would be kicked out almost certainly.

Can't understand why they are doing it to pee Simon off,he wont be affected by it,the ones that will miss out are the contestants, from the article it looks like people are jealous of how much money Simon earns,WHY? someone pays him so it's not his fault, his expertise must be in demand ,people might not like shows like the Xfactor but why spoil it for those that do,can't they simply turn it off,low ratings would affect the show more than Wagner winning, lol,If Wagner wins,I hope this will be the last British Xfactor as it is not serious anymore and it has been spoilt imo.

Well Cher will be back up this week, some of her lazy fans thought she was safe last saturday But Wagner may just be one above the act of the bottom two every week or something... he won't get much further, I'll give him 2 more weeks.

I'm voting because I like him though.

The anti simon vote is just a way of showing him that people wont be manipulated into voting the way he wants them to. Yes he still gets money, but his show loses credibility. I can nearly 100% guarantee that if Wagner won, next year we would have no joke acts put through past bootcamp, for fear of it happening again...so only talent will make the live shows

2 more weeks is fine, he will make the semi finals then :')

This. Simon wont be so cocky putting thru acts cuz their 'interesting'. The show needs to concentrate more on the talent than on Simons bank balance.

Simon won't let him win either way, do you really think he would have him on his label and releasing an album? He would just make sure the press was negative for the week leading up to it, and then if Wagner still got the most votes he would probably just fix it.
