Default Order by weekly average positions

Here's the order based on average positions each week.

As you can see Mary is second using that method, though 2nd, 3rd, 4th are all close and Mary's position was dropping as the show went on. Pretty much everyone finished close to where they should, apart from Aiden.

I quite enjoyed making that.

So basically...as we knew, aiden had one bad week and left because of it

So much for the judges vote being to save people who had just had a bad week

I did not jump on any bandwagon

Wagner actually started to appeal to me before Aiden left...

Mary was so boring it's unreal, the only reason she did so well was because she had Ireland's votes too.

Do you really think people from ireland vote like that?

This annoys me, especially when Louis says it all the time. Would YOU vote for someone just because they were from england? Would you refrain from voting for someone because they were from Ireland? Of course you wouldnt.

It suprises me that Matt won by quite a small margin. Considering he took over first place for all the weeks.

Yeah..

Cher's from Malvern which is near me, that's part of the reason I wanted her to win even, probably wouldn't have voted as much if she hadn't lived so close.. she'd have still been my favourite though anyway if that makes sense :/

The majority of acts are from England though, Ireland is never represented very well comparitively, and if they only have one act in the competition it will make them more inclined to back them because she is essentially their sole representative

Well theres me proven wrong then...didnt think people were petty enough to vote just based on where the acts come from...surely talent means something too?!

Joe lived like 10mins away from me and I supported Danyl, as did most other people from where I lived at the time

Well tbh, thats quite sad. Its not the country winning the show, its the contestants, and people should not get support based on where they are from.

No but I think they would like it if a winner came from their country because it's something to relate to. I'm no fan of Andy Murray but, as a Brit, it's nice to see him do well in tournaments even though he's not officially representing any particular country

I never support the Scottish acts, I don't know many from here who do, there's a tendency to be annoyed by the judges saying "Scotland needs to get behind _____" because it implies we're petty like that. That was interesting James!

90% of people from here were voting for Rebecca, when I posted a status on Facebook saying she was ****e I had people saying I should want her to win cos she is from Liverpool. So some people do vote for people just cos of where they are from. Stupid really.

Maybe it works on a city basis, but nationally I just don't think that's the case at all, the only acts I've ever voted for on the X Factor were Miss Frank and Hope, neither had any Scottish members.

I'm surprised there's not been (well, yet) much of a backlash over that, I mean we all knew it but still...
