What's the point in doing anything any more, people will just complain.

It wasn't any raunchier or dirtier than your average music video nowadays.
Of course, they're setting a bad example for children too...but do something about them first.

Its just pathetic really.
I bet the majority of these parents complaining have bought/are planning on buying their kids a computer for their rooms or something. The internet is way worse than the tv will ever be... What did they expect? Xtina to perform a song called burlesque(as far as I'm aware...if not I have no idea why I thought it was called that :/)...from a film about burlesque...wearing an ankle length skirt, jumper, and swaying on the spot surrounded by a choir?

All hail the Moyesiah
|
The complainants are just a tiny drop in the huge ocean of X Factor viewers who had no problem with the performances. Nothing will come of this

I wonder how many people were offended themselves, or were they complaining on behalf of others who might be offended? I suspect the latter. Meanwhile Cheryl didn't wear anything on her bottom half except leggings which stopped at her thighs when doing her performance, I bet she got no complaints

Meh, people should know better - most guest performers are using it to plug new material, they're not there to observe the 9pm watershed. People moaning for the sake of moaning.

I'm not quite sure why I'm bothering, but anyways...... I had a roomful of nine year old girls watching that ****e on Saturday night and I was well pissed off, though I didn't complain to OFCOM. Whoever said, "they're not there to obey the watershed", what ARE you on about? It's not what they're there to do, it's a watershed. You know, like a speed limit? Or do you also believe, oh sod this, I've a great car I want my friends to hear, I'm not here to obey the speed limit......
I'm the furthest thing you could find from a prude but I hate the idea of my daughter ingesting the impression that if you're immensely talented, edgy, rich and powerful you STILL have to strip to your knickers and simulate sex to be adjudged to have given an impressive performance. I'm neither surprised nor bothered about the men on here defending it; but to the women - seriously? Have a bit of cop on ffs. This is utterly objectionable on a 'family' show; and it is a family show, the only reason I watch the drivel is because my daughter and her friends like to talk about it at school. I'd prefer they weren't talking about how much of 'that woman's arse' they could see. So shoot me - I'm clearly a boring old prude with no sense of humour. Well that, or you lot are a bunch of gullible fools who buy exactly whatever Cowell and his buddies and their media machines decide to shove forcefully down your throats of a Saturday night. Rihanna's performance (if she's the one with the high slit in her dress) was too much when she put her leg over one of the dancers' fanny at the end.
What the frig did Christina do wrong?

This might be going a bit waywood but....Today on loosewomen they were doing an item on winter clothes and they had a man in just his boxers come on to model a hat and this show is on at 12:30 which is way before the watershed will that get any complaints? nope

That would just be a man in his boxers, if he was having sexual contact with someone else, it would change the dynamics.
