He cheats on his girlfriend while she's in the house, throws darts at youth players, and takes the piss out of Rio Ferdinand. What a hero

This guy is world class, if he gets a better attitude (which I think he will) then he could quite easily become one of the best players in the history of the game like Pele, Maradona, etc.

HE's talented for sure. The man has ALOT to learn. His attitude is appalling. Jose Mourinho criticised him by pointing out that Balotelli doesn't think he needs to train as much as senior players like Zanetti and Figo. Is he really THAT good? In his mind maybe but time will tell.

Dunno about the best in the history of the game but if he keeps his head down and sorts his attitude out over the next couple of years, he's got the potential to be one of the best strikers in the Premier League (if he stays that is).

He seems to be more interested in the lifestyle than the game itself, and I think he'll end up like Adriano, out of the game an always in controversy over loads of crap. But he's entertaining to watch and has got talent.

"If you score a goal and give a bit to opposing fans I kind of accept that," said Ferdinand through Twitter.
"But at the final whistle, go to your fans and enjoy it, not opposing fans." Balotelli is believed to have thrust the badge on his shirt in the direction of opposition supporters, while also winking sarcastically at centre-back Ferdinand as the players left the field. |

Sulky Balotelli completes unwanted hat-trick with training ground bust-up with Kompany
How much more can Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini take? The prospect of an FA Cup Final appearance at Wembley, finishing fourth in the Barclays Premier League and playing Champions League football next season does not seem to have brightened the mood of Mario Balotelli. he £23m striker completed an unwanted hat-trick when he was involved in a third training ground bust-up on Saturday. Balotelli reacted angrily to a strong challenge from team-mate Vincent Kompany and responded with his trademark surly look and a pointed finger. James Milner and Yaya Toure were forced to intervene before the fracas turned really ugly. Balotelli's short career at Eastlands has been dogged by controversy and the latest bust-up will only fuel concern about how he is undermining City's hopes for success. Balotelli arrived with a bad boy reputation which was only enhanced with a training ground scuffle with Jerome Boateng. Mancini was then forced to read the riot act to the striker after a rash challenge on captain Carlos Tevez in training. On the pitch he has bagged nearly as many cautions as goals and off the pitch, he has racked up almost £10,000 in parking fines and his white Maserati supercar has been impounded 27 times. But he did endear himself to City fans by winding up Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand after the 1-0 FA Cup semi-final victory at Wembley. |

Mario Balotelli 'takes truant boy back to school and gives bullies ticking off' The youngster was hanging around outside City's Carrington training ground and asked the maverick striker for his autograph, but Balotelli was more interested in why the little scamp was wagging school. After the child told him he was being bullied, Balotelli immediately drove the boy and his mother to the school in question to give the bully a ticking off. The Italian international then demanded to see the headmaster to make him aware of the issue, and even mediated as the two boys were sat down to resolve their differences. A source is quoted by one paper as saying: 'Mario feels strongly about bullying and thinks it's out of order. 'He had no qualms about sorting the mess out as he felt the lad should not be missing out on school.' Despite courting controversy on and off the pitch throughout his first season in the Premier League, Balotelli has occasionally displayed something of a Good Samaritan streak. Last month, it was reported that the 20-year-old celebrated a £25,000 casino win in Manchester by giving £1,000 to a local homeless man. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddball...#ixzz1M1UhGNw5 |
