I was thinking about something Terry Christian said on Bit on the Side earlier in the week when he compared his series of being 'like a council estate' because of all the HM's backgrounds and that was why in his year they all seemed relaxed and just got on (well, most of the time anyway).
Despite becomming more of an entertainment show than a social experiment it still manages to pull in diverse groups of people with different backgrounds and in CBB they usually come from different walks of life and levels of fame so do you think Terry Christian was right that the CBB6 bunch all had 1 thing in common? Coming from working class backgrounds before making it famous? I can't think of a single other series where every HM had the same thing in common. And I always thought the lineup for CBB6 was full of well-known people and would guarantee fireworks because of how some of them came across in the media but for some reason I thought CBB6 still felt flat like the HMs were too scared to cause as big a scandal as CBB5. Was that a factor or did they all just simply gel?

CBB6 was just amazing.
Coolio and Tina's fight >>>>>>> The over rated Race Row. Did Verne and Ulrika come from 'rough' backgrounds?

Not sure about Verne tbh, can't remember if Terry included him in the conversation but he said Ulrika might sound and act posh but she came from a working class family. And I remember a documentary from years back about her being a sex addict and she said it all started when she moved to live with her Dad in a flat somewhere. The reason she claims she became an addict btw was because he left loads of porn out that she stumbled across
