Lightbulb ***** IACGMOH Ratings *****

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s100/...with-115m.html

Quote:
'I'm A Celebrity' enters the jungle with 11.5m

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returned strongly to ITV1 on Sunday evening.

Series 11 of I'm A Celebrity launched with 11.5m (42.4%) on ITV1 from 9pm, peaking at 12m (41.5%) during the opening 15 minutes, but gradually declining towards 10.30pm.

The jungle reality programme also had 265k (1.5%) on ITV1+1, while spinoff show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now! set up camp with 758k (5.3%) on ITV2 from 10pm.
A good launch episode, somewhat "flattened" by the late arrival, and subsequent failure, of "Fat" Freddie Starr, who may yet redeem himself in the BTT .....

Its weird because they didnt really advertise this year :/

usually they have all the pre-shows like "best bushtucker trials" and "best kings and queens" etc..

I'm really quite surprised by that.

Perhaps it's all the BB fans needing weaned off their nightly addiction that we've all got used to !!

First one I have watched. I reckon the stars are a bit bigger than in than in previous years. You have the usual c- listers, but it doesn't get much bigger than Freddie Starr and Stefanie Powers.

It's far too early to say the "show has had it's day" when we've only had two sets of ratings so far .....

I'm a Celebrity, which welcomed 8.21m (32.2%) to ITV1 between 8.30pm and 10pm, along with 321k (1.6%) on +1. Spinoff show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now! attracted 920k (5.3%) on ITV2.

A significant drop - perhaps due to the football "interruption" ?

I am thinking of doing so myself whilst Mark and Antony are there. Can't stand either of them. When Antony hinted he wanted to go, I was like

So the spin off show is bringing in more viewers than some of big brothers main show did and the lowest rating main show is over 8 times more popular than some of the horrific fail of bb that c5 tried to serve up and some illusionists are trying to claim it has had its day.

It is about the same figures as coronation street drew ffs hahaha and that was on at primetime

Friday :

Despite the BBC's dominance, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and ITV1 held up better than expected, with the jungle reality show up 800k year-on-year to 6.47m (24.7%) in the 9pm hour and 360k (1.7%) on +1 for model Emily Scott's arrival.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! delivered 9.5m (35.5%) from 9pm (+1: 230k/0.8%). I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! courted 710k (4.9%) over on ITV2.

I'm with you two .....

I detest "Fick" Wright, "Queen" Cotton and the vacuous pneumatic bimbos, Sinnitta's screams are "doin' my 'ead in" and the BTTs are way OTT with "bush critters", so I'm not going to waste any more time on the series .....

Is that supposed to be a fact? you know, the point you made of the spinoff beating some of Big Brothers ratings? because if it is, then its bull and you know it. stop creating unneeded doom

You are talking utter drivel as usual yes it is a fact so stop talking out of your backside as usual and check your facts before spouting off.

ImACeleb's main show has always done far better than Big Brothers, even most of Big Brother's peak ratings back in the day would not have much better ratings, so five years on, why would that have changed? And finally, regarding the spinoff show getting over a million, thats happened twice (dont hold me on that, as I will only get accused of talking shi*e again) but when it came to the officials, even the lowest rated episode of BB12 got well over a million. Did you expect this series to get back to the glory days? Because I hear that being broadcasted on a lower rated channel is always the cure. and in all seriousness, so frickin what if ImACelebs spinoff got a little higher than Big Brothers lowest rated episode? it diesnt mean that it isnt a heap if trype, does it?
