Well they have been lied to by being told that Losse Women is the equivalent to "the View" in the US. The View in the US is a very politically relevant show, with major stars on it. they don't know that Loose Women is just a chat show on par with Jeremy Kyle.

the View in the US is a huge show that has a-listers on. Loose women doesn't get any A-listers.

The View has Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'donnel, Meredith Viera, and Barbera WALTERS...

Who does Loose women have?? Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter...

They don't get into serious political issues like the View does. They mostly talk about color shades of lip gloss, and how men just don't understand why women love high heel shoes...

There is no comparission between the View and Loose women.

They do talk about political stuff on Loose Women, I had it on yesterday and they were discussing the proposed benefit cap and the opposition to it in the House of Lords

What made me laugh was Twins thinking they could tell LW producers who they wanted on the panel

This is where they are so out of touch.....they think they are ADORED....they think they are going to be on all these TV shows....my god they obviously have been brainwashed by HH....they really do think they are 'gods gift'...

They need a reality check BIGTIME.... imagine if they get booed out of the house...I dont think they will know what to do.... 'bad editing' I guess..

why is it funny? obviously they know nothing about UK TV, i doubt they'd even been to the UK before this show, so why is it surprising?

That's like saying it would be surprising for Denise to go on Chinese BB and know nothing about the TV shows there.

Why do British people think it would be normal for Americans to know anything about the UK?

It really isnt similar at all. The view is a relevant show which discusses political issues and has very vocal highly respected successful female panelists.

Where as loose women is daytime TV fodder for stay at home mums (not to be sexist but thats clearly the demographic the show is aimed at by the tv bosses) its made to appeal to people who read dross like take-a-break. Its basically take-a-break TV hosted by washed up tedious old women who think the idea of womens rights is a womens right to change her outfit before her husband takes her out at night.

One show is relevant, the other embarrassing for all concerned.

And the twins didnt say they could choose, the said they better not have denise on there. That said yes the twins are deluded, but rather be a deluded twin than denise welch or any of her loose women cronies any day thanks.

They do get political when Jamet Street Porter is there
attacking Labours Ed Millboy as no good

I think ITV should show the View on ITV2 9PM

The very fact that people here are so desperate to hate on the twins that they'd compare whoopi goldberg to the likes of denise welch (which is what people saying the two shows are the same are doing) is laughable.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whoopi_Goldberg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch

I could go on making comparisons with the laughable panel on Loose women with the heavyweights on the The View but I think I made my point.

They might occasionally discuss stuff of importance, but the vast majority of the show is rubbish or getting guests on to promote their latest crap... The exception does not prove the rule.

Yeah and what did they ask her about?? Her show she was promoting, and probably why she likes the UK so much.

Just cause the anchor/mediator of the view guested ONCE on loose women, proves absolutely nothing except that when they had her they asked her about crap and trivia... so your point is not valid im afraid.

I don't think the twins have it in them to discuss politics. They borderline airheads.

I totally disagree, they seem pretty smart to me, much deeper and more interesting than say Georgia or the usual glamour model fodder. I bet they know more about politics than say Frankie, Kirk, Romeo or Georgia.

Even the NAME of the show "loose women" shows that they are not taking women seriously, and ridiciluling women even in the NAME of the show. The View is actually about giving women a voice.

Why would you call a serious show about giving women a voice such a ridiculous name as "loose women"???

i guess that's just us American's not getting yur "sense of humour" and not at all about yure countries sexism, right? *rolls eyes*

how dare women take themselves seriously enuf to call it "The View".

I hope they go on BOTS with Pete Burns, he will destroy them, he had a lot to say the other night, was spot on too.
