Disagree on some of them.

BB13's bedroom, on the side we see in the official house pics reminds me of BB6's bedroom and BB13's kitchen reminds me of CBB7's.

The garden reminds me of last years because of the sofas.

Just the lighter look to it than the series since then. The other side reminds me of BB11 though I agree.

Was thinking the exact same thing for BB10 kitchen and CBB7 bathroom, definitely reminds me of those. Actually I've only just seen this pic
Spoiler:

I do like the look of it more than I first thought after seeing it from that angle. Plus the bedroom with garden entrance.

I'm actually finally starting to get a little excited now as it is C5s first summer BB where it should be and first for two whole years and if the hot weather continues too.

I like that photo more now I know that the wood thing next to the door is the dining table. I like the idea of having that there.

I genuinely don't see the comparison Sid.

Side note: I love these houses that didn't need every nook and cranny filled with random objects. It was a simple design with lots of open space.

Just that it's brighter than the past few bedrooms have been (on that side, the other side is a lot like BB11 I agree), that was my first thought when I saw it, that it was brighter like BB3's bedrooms and BB6 (probably just the glass doors and the sun and the white lights on the ceiling). BB7 had purple walls which is quite a dark colour, BB8 I actually can't remember the bedroom, the house was that unremarkable, BB9 had a door to the garden like this year but still seemed darker with the red and gold, BB10, again, can't remember it was that unremarkable and BB11 and CBB9 seemed darker with again warm but very deep coloured walls.

I agree, they look too much like real houses now and too much effort is put into that part of the show. Personally I don't care about all that fancy sofas and posh bedding etc. and I don't want the housemates walking in on launch night and talking about how lovely it all looks.. I'm more interested in the shape of the house/garden being completely different and not knowing where the diary room will be next series.

If only they'd put half the same effort into epic original twists and suprise evictions as much as they do decorating the house.

The kitchen looks like the toilets in Westfields.

It honestly does.

Are you not a little bored of the same layout yet again it is really overdue a big revamp maybe a series with 3 or 4 more extra rooms which would encourage a split in the camp
its all so samey samey open plan different wallpaper nothing has really changed.

They should move back to the original site in Bow just for one series and replicate the bb1 house or something interesting instead of just doing the same thing over and over.

I agree there should be more rooms where people can go to bitch & form a gang but the most important thing for the show is the quality of the housemates not the house itself.

Yes i agree with fact that the housemates are everything but one of the things i love about the show is that they can be pushed into certain corners without even realising it if the scenario/setting is manipulated in an intelligent way that the housemates dont even realise that they are being pushed in a certain direction.

Thats the reason i love bbuk so much and its that i am missing!
The house just seems a little sterile to me its an open plan studio

The recent houses do look a bit safe compared to the glory days of the show. Let's hope there's fresh ideas to the tasks & twists this year.

The BB13 garden and outdoor dining area remind me of BB7

The person who did CBB7 and BB9's bathroom deserves to be shot (not really). Seriously, no one actually does carpeted floors in bathrooms. I have never watched much of CBB, so I hadn't actually come across that, but I remember being shocked at the appalling bathroom design when BB9 came on.

The BB9 bathroom was amazing

I'm sure they changed the carpet to wood flooring before the launch. It was definitely changed by CBB

Well, personally, I thought it was very tacky. I suppose it was better than BB12, though. Now that was truly abysmal.

Well, that's true, but it's a plus factor to have some decent, easy on the eye decorations. After all, if you're going to bring in housemates, you don't want to have them living in a rat-infested cold as an iceberg slump.

When you compare it to previous series, the BB13 house doesn't look as nice, but I still like it.
