The Origin series looks cool, that new clip also confirms the rumour that you battle the professor in this game, I wonder if the ssecond rumour about him being the champion will also turn out to be true?

It was revealed a while ago that you have four different rivals in this game, one is the gender you didn't pick in the start (a la Ruby/Saphire with May and Brendan), there's a fat one, the girl in the pictures (I think) and a competitive more traditional rival.

A clip of Mega Mewtwo which shows how Mega Evolutions work, you can seemingly choose to Mega Evolve whenever you want AND you can still attack in the same turn.

nice graphics ..i'm still not 100% sold on the mega evos thing.. it almost seems like a cheat because its pretty much guarantied that you'll beat the other Pokemon :/ maybe it wont be activated until you defeat the champion or something

Apparently you can only have one Mega in your team so that will balance things out. I'm guessing there will be other limitations as well.

although X&Y are based on chromosomes and there's no chromosome Z so that makes sense, most likely X&Y2

they should do something like this;
fall 2013 - X&Y
spring/summer 2015 - RSE remakes
winter 2016 - X&Y2
fall/winter 2017 - Gen 7 games

While the demo is pretty much exactly the same as it was at the Pokémon Game Show, there are a few little bits of new information:

- Professor Sycamore’s first name is Augustine (as a reader has pointed out, we already knew this!)

- You are able to feed your Pokémon Poké Puffs, presumably they are what you give your Pokémon in Pokémon Amie (Pofflé in the Japanese games)

- Upon sending out Pokémon the player seems to have a more friendly, personal tone. Talking directly to the Pokémon as though offering them moral support. “Go on Chespin. I know you can do it!”

- This touch (possibly to make the bond between you and your Pokémon deeper?) carries across most trainer to Pokémon dialogue… when Chespin is low on HP: “Chespin is in a bit of a pinch. It looks like it might cry…”.
