i WOULD GUESS The majority of men love the strong woman...yes different people get intimidated or uncomfortable in different situations, but to say most men dont like strong women is a big fat lie....the strong matriarchical woman, the strong woman intelligent honest opnionated funny multi skilled is surely what most men seek?

when you meet a woman (or man) as a friend or work colleague , who has no opinions on anything , little to say or seems narcissistic, thats simply boring

but a strong woman is always fascinating...ill pluck famour strong women take jane fonda, princess diana, mother teresa, florence nightingale or the local matron at your hospitals....men adore these women....look at maggie thatcher? the male cabinet went home and worshipped her posters every night

the lie than men dont like strong women is a whole load of crap spreead by idiot tabloids tring to write poison , selling bile and trying to create more division between the sexes..

me too....when i was in uni it was a dream for me as there was a campus with 1000+ women who were intelligent opinionated and many funny as hell too...Ive ALWAYS found that more interesting than exterior beauty.

Nope I think vast majority of guys love weak women ie
easy to control and dominate. Strong = moany and naggy
high maintainance for an awful lot of guys

Having said that i think a lot of men only like strong women as they as they see them as the ultimate challenge: " I am a man and I will seduce this strong woman make her submissive and dominate her so that she's WEAK" is the thought process of many guys imo. At college the guys
targetted the stronger feistier girls to get them to perform sex acts on
them as it was more satisfying and something they can really
boast to lads about.

I think the majority of men don't want to be dominated in a sexual relationship. Everyone* wants to feel in control of their lives and sex is no different.

I also know for a fact that women LOVE a strong man and DESPISE weakness in a sexual partner*.

*Granted that for every permutation of the human condition there are people who are into that.

Well, for me what they call strong women on these shows are in fact vile and bitching women, not strong intelligent women.

And again you are right, western societies are strongly biased against men, and are misandrist, it is Ok for a woman to hit a guy but not a guy to hit a woman even if he is only defending himself, or even why is Luke S so hate , what exactly has he done, yes he takes charge in the house, but does he ever talk badly about anyone? no. He does say that he might not gel with someone, but hate them? never. He did not appreciate Lydia and Deana not making effort for the team task, but not for anything else really, he might not trust them but he is right not to. He has nothing against Luke A either, but Luke A judged him just for being a man and secure about himself, nothing else.

Of course Arron and Luke S are not going to be liked in the BBOTS shows, they are white, male and secure and in good shape, so the perfect target for all the stereotypical nasty jokes, but the girls being evil and even the LUSH thing, Luke S is the nasty one, even if we all know that he does not have a clue about what Ashleigh has said, but he is the guy so it is automatically his fault.

Deana is the most selfish and arrogant bitch there is and yet people are making her look like she is right and a strong women, she is nasty and only thinks of herself, really, a strong woman? she is definitively not.

I think the big problem is as viewers we see 1 hour a day and act like we know the HMs personally based on a tiny 5 minute clip about each topic we end up ranting about for weeks.

I agree that Luke S is in fact a gentleman. He is also not very entertaining to watch on the show.

I also agree that women get away with MURDER when talking shiite about men.

I have no problem with a woman who knows her own mind etc. I love the way for example how Lauren is in touch with her feelings and very expressive of them.
I DO however have a problem with women who go around spreading poison about other people. THIS behaviour IS vile and I have no reservations about calling it such.

In times of old when men ruled the house and women had no choice but to put up and shut up, we had 50yr plus marriages and happy kids that knew right from wrong. That scenario (GENERALLY, NOT ALLWAYS BUT MOSTLY) depicted strong men weak women.

Nowadays we have womens lib, strong girls and women standing up for their rights wanting to be men and wear the trousers, Lesbians on every corner looking like Charles manson and acting like Attila the Hun and female polititians running or ruining our country and what do we have ........... More divorces and single parent families you can shake a stick at. Give me the old days anyday.

Before you ask or slag me off, I met my wife when I was 14, engaged at 18, married at 19 and have been together happily for 40 yrs with 3 very well behaved and balanced kids who all have their own businesses and were raised in a male dominated home. None of them had as much as a paddle on their bums and they have their own kids reared the same and are all happy, but in saying that, they have loads of mates that are single with kids and behaviour problems. GO FIGURE
