Default Who thought it a good idea to put that Rat thing on BoTS?
Had to switch of BoTS early tonight as I couldn't stand anymore of that Rat interupting others and constantly talking that irritating gibberish! It was terrible. Please BoTS can we have a proper panelist rather than some childish hand puppet who should have been consigned to the skip years ago!!

Think yourself lucky, we had Roland Rat all over TV in the 80's and it was just annoying then as he is now! Just hope the next 'guest' isn't Frank Sidebottom, that's even worse than the rat!

Perhaps we'll get Emu or that Fox thing from the 1970s/80s next? I think it was a big mistake and a big turn off more many proper fans.

It won't be Emu, his master puppeteer, Rod Hull fell off his roof a few years ago trying to fix his ariel and died. Basil Brush maybe, if BBBotS scrape that barrel but at least he was funnier than the rat!

I use to love roland rat, but last night on BOTS he was terrible, talking over people and it just got on my nerves, i hope he's not on for a long while.

Well many do think it's a show for quite young people now. The main show can be quite infantile as well, the 'deliberately rubbish scary things' task for instance.
