It wouldn't surprise me, Sharon has no real links to tie her to Walford apart from Phil so I can see them shoehorning this in.

Cora tells Tanya Spoiler: Whole thing reminds me of when there rumor of Mandy turning out to be Lola Mum, which did not happen. Another rumor is that Sharon will fall for Jack! On Xmas day she find out up the duff. |

Carol Hanley is Sharon's mother, and she has been shown in the show. It's not Cora. Cora's daughter, Ava, died either at birth or shortly after.
