Default Was it the frozen/unfrozen phones that saved him

or would Caroline have gone even if they'd closed them the first time and left fb voting open until the last minute like they would normally?

Once Ashleigh was saved, I knew she was going to be evicted.

The freezing and unfreezing of voting lines has happened for 12 years so whether it did or didnt have an effect (i dont see why it would have) is irrelevant.

I dont just think it was the very last re-opening, I think the previous 1 also hindered her chances. With the faves all safe (Sara, Adam, Luke A + Deana) people then aimed to get who they most wanted out, which was Caroline - aided by the hype of the crowd. Thats possibly how Ashleigh got her surge of votes. I honestly thought it would be a Lushleigh B2 with Luke S going.

Elections have happened for much longer than 12 years, that doesn't prevent people from discussing them.

But do you really not think people who normally wouldn't have bothered voting for him went ahead and did it when it was down to just those two, the same way people who don't like Conor campaigned for Shiv, even though they didn't really like her, either?

I don't think she would've gone. Had a feeling she would go once the the voting re-opened the second time, but first time added is what made enough difference I guess. And there was me earlier in the week thinking that BB wanted to protect her by using the one nomination twist, obviously not. Definitely think a lot voted for Luke S though when he was the bottom two, maybe some felt sorry for him too and with the boos?

I get the feeling if the final 2 had of been an outsider v an insider then a sudden rush of votes might have gone to save an outsider due to their popularity but seeing as it was insider v insider i think any rush of votes could well have been quite even.
But who knows really.
The windows for extra votes were pretty tiny compared to the 4 days that voting had been open beforehand though.

It was bizarre the freezing of the votelines, this has never occurred before in an eviction only in the final, this was not the final though where people were voting for the winner, the results should have been whatever the result was at the end of voting at one point in time for all 8 housemates at the same time, none of this re-opening the vote lines in an eviction vote.

I found it all irritating really, it could be what I would term as a means to 'engineering' a result,it stinks though and shouldn't have been done that way in my view.
Glad Luke S stayed though and am sad Caroline has gone.

You are not only wrong but you are trying to harm the show and you are are also enabling a mentally ill person just because you didnt like the eviction result not very nice traits well done.

Up until everyone had been saved apart from Caroline and Luke S i didn't believe for a minute that Caroline would go, it was then i thought she could actually go here because all people had to do then was save Luke S, so yes i do think that played a part. On the other hand Luke S could have already been well above her already.

They did the vote freezing and then re-opening the lines in BB12 iirc?

I think the last minute voting definitely saved Luke S.

I definitely do believe there was a last minute voting surge to save Luke S to get her out and I hope those who did are ashamed

Because Luke S is an awful house-mate, whereas Caroline is also awful, but is vastly superior as a house-mate.

Accusing the production team of engineering a result to suit their own agenda isnt harmful to the show then?
Backing the pathetic behaviour of a disturbed individual isnt encouraging that behaviour?

Im disagreeing with his views there is no attack on the forumer oh dear there is a difference if you cant see that then i cant help you sorry.
Put your wagging finger away and point out the personal attack on the forumer.

There you go, that's your dig at the forum member that I was referring to. Plus, he and anyone else is fully entitled to post HIS OPINION that the votes were manipulated by the way the votelines were opened and closed repeatedly.
