Default CBB who wins? , Who cares ??

I have been watching CBB this year with a sense of expectation, since that first launch night watching all those Celebs/Non Celebs go in my thoughts were, great a good mixture, some big Celebs , this could be the best series ever.

Yet as the show progressed the airtime was given over to the flirtatious younger HM and their love triangles/squares. The bigger Celebs did nothing, said nothing stayed in the background. There have not been any big storylines involving Martin, Coleen, Julian. Julie has been entertaining but only in a car crash sort of way.

So now I ask who do you want to win, or more importantly do you really care who wins as none of them really deserve it judging by winners of previous series.

Who wins ? , Does anyone really care ??

no nedusa, no one on a big brother forum cares about who wins the most current series of big brother.

I think you have missed the point of my thread, what I am asking is do you think any of the HM have been entertaining enough to "earn" the title, most fans watch this show in hope that HM especially CBB HM can cope with the environment and show us their real personalities.

But this year, the younger HM aside, none of the bigger names in there have done anything to make us think they deserve to win.

So yes I know someone will win, but do you really care..!!!

To be honest it wouldn't be such a shock if one of the lesser Celebs went on to win this show. The older more established stars in my opinion have not demonstrated anything to make us want them to win, they have to a great extent just survive on their celeb status.

At least the younger HM like Harvey, Ashley eg have tried to be genuine all the way through. Perhaps more deserving winners in many peoples eyes...!!!

Harvey/Situation and I would be happy.

Doubt it will happen though.

I think the older ones bar Julie and to a certain extent Samantha have been aware of how they could be protrayed and have been holding themselves back, Martin in particular is very robotic...if we were looking to crown the HM that entertained the most like Denise last year, Julie should be the one to beat given she has given us the most talking points. Harvey, Ashley, Martin..just no.

Julie, Coleen and Julian are the only HMs left in there who hasn't relied on falling madly in love with a stranger to be mildly entertaining. So yeah, I'd care if anybody other than them ends up winning.

However I win £78 if Mike wins, so let's hope looks are more important than personality after all.

Yes I agree the bigger celebs have not really had the level of involvement in the program that celebs in previous years have had. It's like they don't want to let their guard's down and completely embrace the BB experience. Not sure what they are afraid of, I mean have they seen the show ??, that's the whole point not just sitting in the background paying lip service to the whole thing.

Or perhaps they are in fact just dull people...!!!

Although I can't realistically see Julie staying in after Wed's eviction stranger things have happened. It would be a shock to see her get more votes than Martin, but you never know. As much as people on these forums have their views on display, the wider public is harder to gauge.

Julie's clearly going for the sympathy vote since Noms were revealed. Have you noticed she has toned down the bitchiness and is acting like the Julie of the first few days. Will it be enough to keep the public onside, and more importantly how will Martin fare it could be a very close battle between the two of them...!!!

I don't care; I lost interest; they should all lose.

Quality of a series is alway more important to me than winning/finalists and this has been far from a classic, but CBBs very rarely are so. I have at least four highlight shows left to watch Julie and she will leave a CBB legend in my eyes no matter what happens on wednesday.

Well Colleen, Julian, Martin Kemp and maybe The Situation are the front runners. In truth this is the first year where I am not that bothered who wins!

Its been a dissapointing series, perhaps it came too soon after the end of The Normal Big Brother.

I gave up on it when Jasmine was booted out. I actually dont care. Its the first Celeb Big Brother I didnt watch from start to finish. I dont like most of the lot in there and Julie should be at home in her bloody slippers. There is nobody interesting enough or well known enough to merit a win so my big brother viewing is well and truly over till the proper Big Brother next year

I think there are enough interesting people in here to give us a good possibly even memorable series , but I agree with your comment that none of the HM have really embraced the BB experience, merely content to take the paycheck and sleep their way through the show. Thankfully some of the younger HM have provided some interesting storylines.

All in All a disappointing series which failed to live up to its early promise.
