Default Nadine Dorries, Conservative MP (Now Suspended) - Goes to the Jungle

Many are saying she has no Right to go as a
Serving MP.

But I wonder if she gets all the tasks by Phone votes
from kizzy and the like,
that she walks out.

On her way to Down Under.

Dorries - who branded Cameron and Osborne 'arrogant posh boys' - heads out to the I'm A Celebrity jungle

Thanks, I actually don't mind Nadine Dorries.
As an MP for whichever party you have the right to challenge particular policies if you don't feel they would be in the best interests of your constituents.
whilst still believing in the overall ideology of the party, blindly agreeing to proposals that go against your personal ideals does not make a good MP.
She will be great in the jungle imo.

Good move by the Conservatives, she seems to have forgotton she was elected by her constituents to do a job, not go swanning off when she feels like it... I do hope she has been suspended without pay....! According the her local party activists who campaigned to get her elected she didnt bother to let them know she was going.....! In all other forms of employment you would be sacked not suspended.

I like Nadine and cannot understand what the fuss is all about. She may even get a few people looking at Politicians as Humans again by her antics in the series.

Good on her I say and good luck to her in the series too. Politicians have done vastly far worse things than this and had no fuss made.
She is a bit of a loose cannon and I like that in Politicians.

Dorries, who is paid £65,738 a year as an MP, will be paid up to a maximum of £40,000 for taking part in the show, which runs daily from Sunday.

If she was my MP.... I would be hopping mad, they have just come back from their summer break! ... I hope she enjoys the money as if she is not sacked by the party she will never be reelected.

She probably knew what would happen really, if she can go in there, be quite entertaining she'll probably get a book deal and probably a show

So you can fiddle your expenses...fiddle with kids and thats fine.
But an MP trying to raise awareness of politics to a new audience?...
If it was not a proviso of the show to keep the line up secret i'm sure that she would have mentioned it.
If she donated her fee to local charities she may be welcomed back haha!

Im sure David Cameron would have been able to keep the secret had she let him in on it. Even if she does donate the money I doubt her constituents will forgive her....

"Not sure why shes even going in"

She had No Right to go as she is serving as a UK MP.

Maybe she wants to be loved?

It is excellent marketing for both her and her constituency...
It propels both into prominence, raising her profile in this way thrusts the issues she promotes into the public eye.
Whatever she set out to achieve seems to me she has already achieved it before she has even eaten her first bollock.
