I'm guessing it'll top CBB10 but less than CBB9.

CBB9 actually had a lot more competition, two new dramas, Eternal Law on ITV and Public Enemy on BBC One, which got 4.32m and 4.5m respectively. So it might match it. It's on closer to New Years this time and there's no new 16-34 competition at all, so the lack of advertising shouldn't hinder it.

My final prediction based on the lack luster advertising campaign and rumoured celebs is 2.3 million.
Fingers crossed im wrong and it will top 3 million but highly doubtful. |

I'm gunna go for a 3.3mil average and a peak of 3.7
There's been a decent advertising campaign on billboards/bus stops and in a few magazines. Also the odd ident on the main channel. It could be much better, but it could be alot worse (such as no advertising what so ever...remember the ch 4 days?) Throw in a very weak schedule on all other channels, i can't see it averaging under 3mil tbh.. If 5 have thrown must of the budget on a 20sec ad spot during corrie or emmerdale on wednesday evening, then i'll revise my prediction to 3.7 average and a peak of 4million. 3.1 million, peak of 3.4 million? Probably settle for about 14% share as well.

Im gunna go with 3.7mil, had more press then I imagined, and a ITV ad slot during emmerdale.
A peak of 4.1mil, and a drop to around 2.4mil during the last 25mins. So a very good night if im correct. Last edited by SSL2012; 04-01-2013 at 12:56 AM. |

Average = 3.55m (15.9%)
Peak = 4.32m (19.93%) Second in slot, beat all but CBB8's on Channel 5. See Dan Last edited by DigitalSid; 04-01-2013 at 10:17 AM. |

Very impressive. Beat CBB9 launch by about 400k and CBB10 launch by about 800k!

Won the slot with 16-34s, more than doubling BBC1's (500k) with 1.08 million.

If it wasn't for tonight's EastEnders clash, I think we'd be looking at a great retention rate, it's trending now:

Doubt it, aren't the C5 +1s sub 100k? Then again digital ratings are changing fast so that might change this year.

Yeah that's true, but it sometimes (rarely though) just made it over 100k on +1 if the +1 was on at 10pm (only if it was up against tough competition at 9pm, like tonight will).
