who is running the show speidi if they wont take part surely they are not meeting the terms of their contract so boot them out

You could at least be somewhat funny or witty about it, instead of being all overly classless like a bad movie villain.

Their contract is with channel 5. If channel 5 choose to allow them to stay in the basement as long as they like, that's not breaking the contract.
Two parties who make a contract can agree to change it's terms. If people don't like it then don't watch or just don't vote for them.

Let them stay in the basement, take all the cameras out.lock the doors and feed them 3 times a day, let them out sometime in March.
