thankyou sir alex

i was once mugged and beaten up whikst walking in harehills in leeds i was 16 and yards from my flat (dad kicked me out and had to live in a glat for 6 months at 16 long long story) any way a group of hoodies asked me for a quid to use the pay phone and started circling around me, i felt very intimidated and was worried so said no i havent and started to walk away from my flats direction as i didnt want them to see where i lived, anyway as i was walking off i felt a thud at the back of my head and turned around andwas punched in the face, i stumbled and hit the floor, i heard them saying in plastic gangsta accents "take his shoes" "take his shoes" which they did aswell as my back pack with my colledge work and walkmen in aswell as my wallet. obe of them theb said kick the effer in his head which one of them did before a takeaway shop worker chased them off.
i ended up at my sisters house with the takeaway bloke and ythe police followed it up and pretty much nothing else. no one was arrested for it or questioned. i saw one of the lads a few weeks later whilst with my brother in law and we confronted him. he litterally pissed himself crying cos he was that scared and just started saying please mate dont hit me i just was there im sorry and dually gave me £20 quid and he went. i wouldnt of hit him ince we saw him crying but just wanted to make him feel like i did. in hindsite spme may say i was as bad as those thugs that got me but at that moment intime i was young and just wanted revenge. i would never confront someone like that who was on their own now if i was woth someone it was the worst experience of my life and pretty much scarred me for manymny years. i still get nervous when walking past groups of lads now. so have you ever experienced anything similar?

East Leeds has always been rough, it is far worse now believe me....
No I haven't, but put myself in some really stupid positions at times, it's pure luck I haven't been peter. I can see how it would make you cautious now.

I took it off him put it down the drain then I was ready to take care of him but he ran like a rabbit. The only way to Stop arista would be a bullet to my head |

No, I'm at no risk where I live and if I'm alone I keep to well populated areas if i'm outside of my town.

when i was about 14 i was with another 2 girls a bit younger than me and we were playing @ a local park type thing behind some flats not a proper park just a swing/slide etc anyway these 2 older teenagers for some reason made us line up against a wall they were guys and they were like taunting us (i dont remember properly as it was a very long time ago) anyway one of them had a stick with dog poo on it and i think he smeared it in my hair then i know one of the other girls started crying and the lads must have got a shock as they ran off and we then ran to my house as it was the nearest i dont remember wot happened after that just that i didnt go back to the playground 4 a very long time.
also when i a a bit older about 17 i had been shopping in newcastle 4 some new clothes i only got £25 a week back then and someone tried to steal my bag but i didnt let it go they didnt get it. |

A guy tried to steal my bag in Liverpool once on Lime Street station, My friend hit him though so he decided to grip her around the neck. Luckily some lovely guys came over and pulled him off her and he ran away. The lads stayed with us until our other friends turned up.

Got assaulted on my 19th birthday... was just walking home from my friend's house, just two minutes away from mine, and it was on an A road too, it wasn't particularly late, I wasn't drunk and I wasn't bothering anyone... left me very anxious and scared to go anywhere alone at night for a long time.

I havent actually - which is good considering i live in Croydon.
I spose i am 6foot1 and have a good build so im not an 'average target'. Although, one time this school child tried to take my bracelet off me he must have been like 15 and i was 18 - he was following me and then grabbed my wrist and tried to get it off - he was only small so i didnt wanna hurt him, but he went to far and actually got it un done so i had to smack him slightly to get it off - i felt well bad punching a minor but he wouldnt feck off. He ran away after that but meh. x |
