I know it's highly possible that there are transgender people using the forum and I would never be intentionally offensive but I am extremely curious, due to the happenings in that other thread.
Hypothetical situation. If you got close to someone and wanted to date them and they suddenly told you they were born in the wrong body but are now living as their true gender, but haven't had gender reassignment surgery, would it bother you, or would you accept it? If anything I said here is offensive, please let me know so I can change it. |

Yes i would if i ever eventually wanted a relationship, which i doubt, what annoys me though, is they seem to attach stigma to transgender people in society, by only portraying those who do not pass very well, and still look like their original gender
They do not show people like Kim petras, who successfully transitioned young, and now looks better than most biological girls.. Not saying you need to pass, but it is annoying they dont show both sides

so to clarify, I would want to date a guy (as I thought) but he then told me he was born a girl and was living as a guy?
I don't know tbh, but I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand, I found Luke A attractive in BB, so I don't have an issue.

If I was in love, it wouldn't bother me. I'd experiment if we were just dating to see how I felt but I'm not sure, it'd be an at-the-time decision. Couldn't possibly know now.

I couldn't date someone that was pre-op but post-op wouldn't bother me.

I have no prejudice towards transgender people or anything like that. I answered no, but thinking about it, I could maybe "date" a transgender person, but would find the whole 'anatomy' thing hard to deal with. Post-op would be different.

No. I want children in the future and internal plumbing renders that an impossibility. I don't want a surrogate, or adoption.
Also really selfishly, does anyone know what a constructed vagina is like? I don't want to find it's like having a wank with lube, then be stuck with it for life. |

I don't really know what I would do in the situation I described, but I made the thread as I know some people would have an answer to it. I think the thing that would make me lean more to a no is that we wouldn't be able to have children biologically, it's so hard to answer because I couldn't imagine loving someone other than my boyfriend, but who knows, you can't choose who you love, I don't know what I would possibly do.

Can we just establish that "having a play" is different from "dating?"
I would have a play, but not date. |

There was also that transsexual who was originally disqualified from competing in Miss Universe Canada but was then reinstated and did quite well

Would just be weird thinking they had a dick at some stage or still do tbh. Might be ignorant in my behalf, but that's my view.
