Default Channel 5 are tearing big brother apart!

When big brother Started on Channel 5 in 2011, I personally thought Amazing. But It seems every series they do, They peal a bit more away from bb and replace it with TOWIE. For Example!

CBB 2011. They removed the separation from the stairs and the house!

BB 12 The breached the Rule of NO CONTACT WITH THE OUT SIDE WORLD, By putting that heaven thing up on a bungee Jump. Also they let like 5 housemates leave the house to watch a movie!

CBB 2012 (WINTER) They removed The background music when a housemate is being evicted, You the 1 that sounds like the opening to "Eye of the Tiger".

BB 13 They FINALLY changed the floor plan a bit. BBBOTS was hosted inside the garden where emma talked directly to the house and let them see ashley and Scott's best bits!

CBB 2012 (SUMMER) Marcus went completely over board During Every single clip of the show!

Nothing that bad happened for CBB 2013 that I know of. But I will tell you 2 of the biggest mistakes that Channel 5 Did while They took over Big Brother.
1, NO LIVE FEED!
2, LETTING BRIAN DOWLING BECOME HOST!

In all honesty I really wish They just let the show die, It went from brilliant (Not BB4 OR BB10) to absolute J-O-K-E!

What do you think?

The last CBB was the worst for taking a dump on the rules by letting Rylan out of the house a few times a week for dance practise.

A lot of that stuff was starting to happen even during BB11. The blame lies with the production team rather than Channel 5. Hopefully this alleged "shake-up" happening next series will have a much needed effect.

To be fair the no contact with the outside world rule was gone long before Channel 5 took over the show. I agree that it's nowhere near as good as it used to behowever I still enjoy it for what it is and moments like the whole Speidi/K&K vs. rest of house make it enjoyable. If they manage to get good housmates then it still has the potential to be good imo, no matter how much they insist on making it TOWIE pt. 2.

I can remember in UBB when the tree set a task for John and if he did it sucsessfully, he would get a broadsheet newspaper for the rest of the time that he was in the house.

The separation from the stairs and house isn't really the downfall of BB tho, is it? There was no seperation before BB4 and during BB11 there was only a glass wall. Same thing with no contact. Thats been breached for years. I'd say BB10 was far worse than any C5 series (apart from the whole Rylan thing, although that was only CBB)

BBOTS, eviction music and Marcus are imo all trivial as well. It's just an evolving show. There is a reason that Endemol (and not C5!) change the show, so that it can stay current with the target demographic.

Live feed I agree with, it's still an important part of BB. I think apart from that I've been personally pretty pleased with BB on 5.

Big Brother isn't what it used to be, but just because you're unhappy with it, why sould we all suffer with it's cancellation?

Are you for real...?..Brian Dowling being host, is the best thing that ch5 has done to the show!...[he should do BOTS as well!...Apart from Davina and Jade Goody, Brian is the essence of Big Brother UK, ...and couldn't put a foot wrong if he tried to!!

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but if not, I 100% agree with you.

Brian IS Big Brother now

lol this is the type of thread we would expect from an angry fan in 2011.

It's been over two years. We've all established that Big Brother is bollocks now, and will always be for aslong as it stays on that tacky ******ing channel.

Yet people claim that BB13 is the best in years? (Which I agree with)
