I watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It won an Oscar and got great reviews, but to be honest, I couldn't get into it like the live-action films. The animation is very fast and bright.

I think you might need to have read the comics do get the most out of it of it, which I have never done.

Spiderman - Far From Home

It was enjoyable and Tom Holland is doing a great job. You can tell the emotion he's acting just through the eyes when the mask is open.

So before I was rudely interrupted, I was doing a Fincher fest.

I've decided that Fincher isn't that great after all. Seven and Fight Club are overrated, Zodiac isn't as good as I thought, I've since watched Panic Room, and that was crap. Social Network is his best film, but that isn't overly special.

Being kicked off the forum for a month by the powerful ones has given me time to film binge. I've watched at least a film a day sometimes 2 and sometimes 3, over the last month, so I've watched plenty. The last film I watched, last night was Wallace and Gromit the curse of the were rabbit. Great film, one of the best of the 21st century. I give it 10/10

Toy story 4. Utter utter trash. Trailer looked rubbish, but then people kept telling me it was good...but James obviously wanted to see it so away we went. Almost fell asleep tbh

Monster House - It brings back childhood memories, it also takes some of the best stuff about Harry Potter, 80's culture, and creepy houses and meshes a great little Kids Movie imo, it's obviously dated in some areas with being over a decade old and all that, but overall just a really entertaining Film for me. 9/10

Gonna watch a film now on Netflix.

I'm thinking of watching "Looper"

Anybody seen it? Is it worth a watch?

A lot of people like it, but I didn't that much.

I couldn't really connect to the characters or story.

You've put me off it now.

Others that I'm considering are

Nightcrawler
Grand Budapest Hotel
Birdman
Selma

Which of those would you recommend most?

I need to catch up on films of this decade or I won't be able to make a top 20 list for this decade in my own best film game.

Nightcrawler from that list Alf. It's amazing and you won't be disappointed.

I thought Looper was pretty good. Not great in terms of character if that's what you're going for. But an entertaining watch nonetheless.

Then again, I enjoyed Panic Room.

I've just watched Venom and I've got to say that whilst it's no Dark Knight or MCU quality, it is still a fun Film with a unique twist on the Venom character imo. The only real flaw that annoyed me in the Film is the love interest (I know in a Superhero story) but she came across as really unlikable to me, I don't know if it was meant to be intentional or not but she just seemed like a total bitch to Eddie. I mean I get that he made a mistake that also took a bad turn on her near the beginning of the Film, but to be so extreme as to dump him for one mistake was harsh imo.

Anyway overall I'd rank the Film 7.5/10

I do apologize for the monologue, I've got to seriously cut down my reviews to smaller text.

I watched 4 films yesterday

Sling Blade (1996) 10/10
The Witches (1990) 10/10
National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) 9/10
L.A. Confidential (1997) 9/10

I'm probably gonna watch two or three films today, but don't know what yet. Any suggestions?

Nightcrawler (2014) - 10/10

Blew my mind, wow! How Jake Gyllenhaal didn’t get an Oscar for this is unbelievable.

I'm gonna watch Mr Bean's Holiday for this afternoons matinee.

I think I've seen it before, but can't remember if I have or not.
