I liked the first Avatar, but the second one is just amazing. James Cameron is such a brilliant director.

I’m so glad to hear that !! I liked the early part of Avatar but LOVED it when the story actually got going in the Avatar world .. We’ve been on the Avatar ride at Disney and it is absolutely amazing ( especially if you’ve seen the movie)- just imagine the motion / wind you get in the ride . https://youtu.be/4SiLDQKvcIk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 14-01-2023 at 12:17 PM. |

The banshees of inisherin.
I loved it. You can really lose yourself in the story and the brilliant acting. And it looks so beautiful, I'd love to visit Ireland again. I've been to Dublin pre covid. A very solid 9/10

I think I was mentioning to you before that the west coast down to the South of Ireland is really beautiful, those Islands that The Banshees of Inisherin was filmed on are off Galway & Clare in the west, they're well worth a visit

A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4.
Seen it ages ago before, it was alright. Nothing will beat Part 3 Dream Warriors for me though. 6/10

Aftersun.
This is really lifted by an amazing performance by the lead. Paul is absolutely fantastic and well deserving of his Oscar nomination. It's not for everyone, but it really takes you on a journey. 8/10

I finally got around to watching Elvis.
Overall I really enjoyed it but it was "typical Luhrmann" - erratic, colourful, kind of all over the place. The early part where it covered Elvis' early career felt a bit rushed and manic (felt a bit like they were just acting out his Wikipedia) but I feel like the second half of the film (arrest - Christmas special - Vegas) is where the good stuff is. Austin Butler was crazy good as The King. Last edited by LaLaLand; 03-02-2023 at 12:01 AM. |

Everything everywhere all at once.
A bit of a weird movie, not what I expected at all. But I loved it and the acting was excellent. 8/10

Like a Boss
6/ 10 Ok movie Weird combination of Rose Byrne & Tiffany Haddish ,but it had some laughs revolving around mixing friendship with business. Lisa Kudrow was a surprise appearance in it aswell. |
