Contrary to the rubbish posted by some on this Forum, Emma actually gave a superb interview.
There was an overwhelming majority of people who wanted Hazel out and they wanted answers. Notably why Hazel did not play it safe given the mixed signals about his girlfriend that Daley was giving (and despite what Hazel fans say, they were - I can go into that in more detail if necessary but he on a number of occasions explained the difficult situation he was in) and in particular now that she knows, does she regret it and think it was a mistake? The honest answer from anyone with any moral conscience whatsoever would be to say yes and if Hazel had done, that would have been the end of it and they could have moved on to another question. But Hazel, like the lying narcissist she is, repeated the same rubbish over and over again, never answering the question. So Emma kept pressing her, as any good interviewer would. And quite rightly would not let up. Don't blame Emma for Hazel's dishonesty in the interview. |

Emma wasn't asking the right questions. That was the problem.
She should have asked why Hazel lied and got Daley ejected as a consequence. |

I admit she was persistent but you failed to notice she never got her answer. Emma is lovely but last night she came across as a woman scorned by hazel herself. Maybe Emma has had a BF stolen from her because the interview had 1 vain running through it (admit you were wrong) she failed to secure that statement and missed loads of stuff relevant to Emmas golden girl Gina.
Hardly her finest hour and certainly not a great interview at all. |

Even Emma Willis is a better interviewer than that. There are plenty of people who don't think she "lied", and she certainly didn't want Daley to be ejected, believing that is just nonsensical. Even if you're one of those who thinks she is cold / heartless / ruthless... why on earth would she deliberately destroy her own "main storyline"? Daft. |

People wanted answers? She's not a murderer.
Why does Hazel warrant a harsh interview and Daley a nice one where Emma can pass him the kleenex? Hazel's criticised for sticking up for herself and articulately explaining her actions. Daley's pitied after blaming all his actions on Hazel. Thank god it's over. Gina out next.... |

It well be interesting to see if there is any change in Hazel's demeanour tonight after she had a chance to absorb all the Hazel-hate out there.
Incidentally, it looks like Iain Lee will NOT be giving her a hard time, if his recent tweet is anything to go by. |

Had that been Gina, we'd never hear the end of it. |

But if you use a little common sense, you will be able to think of ways of showing how Hazel lied without even using the term. Unfortunately Emma is simply not up to that sort of interview. As I have said before she is only suited to light and fluffy. |

Shame she didn't ask daley why he lied...
And why he used every excuse in the book to squirm his way out of the hole he was in, those who saw the live feed saw his stance and felt the tension. I defy anyone to give a logical explanation as to how he ducked out of responsibility for that incident.

NO she didn't it was dire. Hazel completely dominated it repeating the same sentences constantly and Emma was clueless.

The trouble is none of the BB presenters has to courage to suggest to Hazel that she - overall - enjoyed the incident in the safe house and to follow up with effective questions if she denies it.
"Why didn't you........ - ask Daley to stop it - shout out etc etc" "You only seemed to get worried when you heard the words "This is Big Brother......" That is the only way to nail Hazel's lies about the incident. Daley is a a knuckleheaded piece of junk whose existence I would prefer not to acknowledge! Let me make that abundantly clear. However, in the debate about whether the incident was playfighting or not I believe him and not Hazel. |

She a very good interviewer but I really can't stand her stroppy defensiveness.
When she gets up on her high horse she's like a strict bossy and slightly nasty schoolteacher (along with that annoying nagging voice). She also has this slightly irritating habit of constantly laughing at her own jokes. |

wrong in every respect. daley got booted, no after show, no chance to redeem himself etc and lost his girlfriend. he was a a disgrace though
she got 4 or 5 more weeks , she got away with her role in the disgusting incidents of that night , she was a homewrecker and she dodged the questions she blamed daley, daley blamed himself and apologised....she disingenuously tried to justify being a homewrecker, he didn't, he apologised, though he did hint that hazel was part to blame and she was daley was far more honest and accepting of his blame. emma let her off the hook, probably sexism as she may go to cry |

Emma was in a no win situation. No matter how she handled it she was gonna get criticism. I think she took Hazel on and came off second best, but that's no surprise, Hazel is rather formidable. Maybe Emma seen it as her place to be biased against Hazel since so many BB fans were against her.
I think it was a real shame the way Emma & BOTS handled the whole thing, and they lost me as a fan over it. With BB manipulating events and then the support show being really onesided, it's felt like there's been no let up form the blatant favouritism this series. Anyway I do think that Emma's dislike for Hazel lessened as the weeks went on. |
