Default This can't go on, Big Brother must wash Gina!

On bit on the side they now said that Gina found mold in her clothes. This is unnacceptable. Why are BB allowing this. If Gina won't shower or wash her clothes, BB must either evict her, or wash her clothes for her and give her a private shower so she can shower. There must be some english laws BB is breaking when they allow this.

What I mean is that BB is putting Gina in a special situation. They obviously see that she does not want to shower in public, so when they are responsible for this show, that is something they must address.

And no, I do not mean that you should police everyone in the country. But this situation is very rare.

There is no excuse for her not washing her clothes, it's just complete dirtyness and laziness on her part, they must smell awful.

Why on earth should they be responsible for making sure she's washing herself and her clothing? all they could do anyway is speak to her in the DR.

BB could be very discreet about it - they could let her have an afternoon in the safe house and leave a few big hints - like new fluffy towels and bath oils etc...couple that with a hair dryer she can plug in and voila - a Gina that's nice to be near...

She isn't washing or ironing her clothes (Dexter said he would steam her eviction outfit for her) because she needs to keep up the ruse that she doesn't know how to do washing as she always has someone to do it for her...The net result is MOULDY old clothes...

I thought they were all getting their laundry done for them this year. hence my surprise when it was so long that Dexter had not washed his onesie. I am sure it has been mentioned on here.

Come to think of it we have not seen much clothes washing at all this year, the same as the showering.

I'm not a legal expert, and not that I would support a lawsuit, but if Gina gets sick, I can see alot of lawyers wanting to represent her. There is a case to be argued that BB should intervene when they monitor every moment, and someone does not wash themselves for very long.

I haven't noticed the mangle being used much but in the highlights they sometimes flick to stock shots of clothes drying in the garden...

I don't think BB do their washings for them though??

Gina and Sophie were both showering earlier in the week.

Surely you can't be serious? Gina is an adult, it's her responsibility to take care of washing her clothes and her own personal hygiene

Anyone would think there was a reason why she did not want anyone to see her showering...she exposes her top half constantly - even over breakfast in her little low-cut clubbing tops...Hazel told her to put some clothes on during the day...something isn't right here...

Yeah, it is. But BB is responsible for the security in the house, and you can say that they have not given the housemates the proper oppurtunity to maintain an acceptable personal hygiene.

They have hot water, washing powder and a mangle to wash their clothes.

Just like most other years.

You honestly think BB should do the housemates laundry for them?

Its not a hotel.

Security is nothing to do with hygiene...

And there is more than ample opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle in there, there is toiletries all over the place, towels and bathrobes are provided and there is a shower that most of the other housemates use daily, I really don't see how anyone else other Gina can be held responsible for her own hygiene

I meant security in a broader sense offcourse. TV producers can't do whatever they wan't. Somewhere in the law there must be something about their responsibilites for contestants if they are to make a tv-show whatever show it may be.

And I do agree for the most part it is her own responsibility. But what about the other housemates that have to deal with this? Does BB not have a responsibility for them? What if the mold gets in their lungs?

It was bit on the side, yesterday 14 august. It was revealed that it was Gina who had discovered the mold and said it. Also Emma commented that because of this, Gina should wash her clothes.
