Yesterday it was announced that there would be four new pro's coming to strictly and four pro's leaving

Although Lowe has been replaced by Aliona Vilani, she revealed that she's hoping to be back to take part in the group dances by week three of the show.

"Unfortunately it's six to eight weeks' recovery, but I'm going to try and get back earlier," she told Digital Spy at Thursday's (September 5) National Lottery Stars Gala. "The show doesn't start for another two and a half weeks.

"I'm going to get loads of rehabilitation, so it's looking promising that I'll be back before episode three of Strictly. It takes you right up until the end of December and I'm going to do the Christmas specials as well. They're already lining me up with a very lovely celebrity, apparently.

Lowe continued: "The whole reason Aliona came back was because it's not fair on the celebrity to start this experience on a back foot - pardon the pun.

"You build up such a rapport and a bond. It's just not fair on them mentally and physically, so Aliona's going to be in the show the whole time and I'm going to come back and dance the group numbers where I was supposed to be dancing before."
