Dancing On Ice stars Torvill and Dean hint that the show could return!

Fans of Dancing on Ice will of course know that ITV is airing the ninth, and final, series of the show early in 2014…
However, it’s been reported today that the show’s mentors, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, have hinted that it could well have a reprieve and therefore be back on our screens at some point in the future.
When asked about the possibility of a comeback for the show, Christopher said, “You never know…
“ITV rested Saturday Night Takeaway so it might come back.”
To What’s On TV, he added, “A great person says ‘never say never’.”
But while speaking of what is so far the last series – which is set to be an all-star special featuring some of the most popular celebs from previous series – Christopher remarked, “I think it’s going to be the best series [yet].
“We are having an all-star cast and have got several of the past winners that will be competing head to head…
“From a competition point of view, it’s all these past winners coming back to find out, ultimately, who is the best skater.”
