Best body work of any heavy in history Quickest Heavy in history Amazing head and body movement Ali got his ass TAPPED by one of the most limited boxers in history in Frasier you think Ali will still be standing after Tyson lays a few bombs on that jaw don't ****ing think so. I would LOVE to see Ali lie back on the ropes and let Tyson punch the **** outta him see how that turns out for him

ps ali beat prime foreman, a prime liston, patterson twice, even after ali had been banned and came back years past his best.....he also beat frazier twice a fact youve overlooked deliberately....won the world title 3 seperate times and defended it over 25 times agaisnt the best....the heavyweight division was clearly stronger in that period too Last edited by the truth; 05-01-2014 at 04:28 PM. |

WOW JUST WOW what absolute non knowledge
Tyson's issues aside Douglas had just lost his mum and fought literally 10x above his ability that night so I find your comment a bit disrespectful tbh As for the fight itself ignoring the 15 second count Douglas was given Tyson did not prepare at all properly BRB fired Rooney WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER THAT FACT Tyson always needed stern direction so to replace Rooney they brought in 2 of his childhood friends who knew **** all about boxing and just let Tyson do what he wanted While training for Douglas he broke camp for 3 days(never did this with Rooney) too go clubbing in China town Well known he got knocked the **** out in sparring by a bum in the lead up to the fight AS I SAID TYSON WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER ROONEY THIS IS JUST FACT And now with this all in mind without a 15 second count he would still have won lol

It is amazing that even after all this time Tyson still has this mystique even though losing very badly to both Douglas and Holyfield and the subsequent joke that his life has become.

Why do you keeping talking about the fight as if Tyson properly trained for it I will say it again
FIRED ROONEY (THE MAN WHO GAVE HIM THE DIRECTION AND MOTIVATION TYSON NEEDED) and replace him with his childhood friends who KNEW NOTHING ABOUT boxing and let him do what ever he wanted (The rubber glove incident should tell you all you need to know) Was getting knocked the **** out in sparring by bums Widely known (pics all around the net) of Tyson going clubbing and strip clubs days before the fight Tyson like every fight after Rooney prepared like an utter bum coupled with Douglas losing his mother (you still owe an apology for that comment you made initially no joke) equalled for the perfect storm. Now let's not even talk about the 15 second could Douglas had in the 8th

Tyson 85-90 would have taken Ali Fraiser Lewis and Douglas one after the other in one night please so educate yourself and watch some prime Tyson footage

In your previous post you basically stated that by watching footage of Tyson from 85-90 was proof that he would have beaten four former heavyweight champions on after another. Three of those champions are considered all time greats. I replied 'if you say so'. I think my reply matches the absurdity for your comment.

Not only beaten Ko'd them. He would have hit Ali's glass jaw so hard 03 Lewis would have felt it
Anyone that A. Think Prime Tyson was LIMITED when infact he was the definition of a boxer in his prime B. Thinks Evander (who I have top 8 all time) beats Prime Iron Mike should take up another sport as Boxing is quite clearly no for you

Sadly for Tyson those who are not educated in the art of boxing remember the Tyson who lost to Williams and Lewis and not the Iron Mike of Spinks and before

sadly its you who needs re-educating and re-progamming your little fanboy man love for tyson is bliding you to the realities. everyone remembers tyson at his best and his worst and all the bits in between. youre not telling anyone anything original , we all know. but greatness os measured over time and against all sorts of different fighters and challenges. sadly his greatness didnt last anywhere near long enough. he was also far too limited a technician which is exactly what douglas and holyfield exploited

I remember Iron mike. I remember he was the most devastating heavyweight anyone had ever seen. I remember that factors out of the ring did pay a huge part in his downfall but even with those his performance against Douglas was woeful. Fumbling on the floor trying to put his shield in then putting it in the wrong way round was Mike at his most pathetic. Douglas started the Tyson downfall and Holyfield made sure Tyson never rose again.
