If she'd not even hinted at having some kind of issue with Jim and he'd brought it up the way he did, I'd be on her side, but she's been trying to get a reaction from him for two weeks now and he finally gave her one. It clearly rattled him when he found out Luisa had actually gone and asked her though so I think he felt bad, as he should. I feel sorry for Linda but she's had it coming from day 1.
Great post and I agree with it all except that really I have very little or even no sympathy for her, this to me has backfired on her and she is the one who looks the worse for it.
I'd even say she got off lightly because still the other housemates have no idea what went on in that dressing room.

It was totally uncalled for as it wasnt Linda that stole, but her dead husband.

He told her to ask so enough of this he didn't think she would do it.

He then denied it.

It all makes more sense to me now.
1. Mr Nolan stole some money from a friend of Jim's.
2. Jim got drunk and mouthy about it in a pub.
3. Linda had him thrown out 'cause he was probably out of line.
4. Jim knows he was out of line, but deep down, he wants people to remember that he wasn't the only idiot in the pub.

It came across to me as "go on, I dare you to" and then ****ting a brick when she actually dared to.

I can't stand Linda. From the very minute she stepped into the house she said she hated him... actually, no - that's wrong. She said it in the VT BEFORE she even stepped foot in the house! Clearly she has issues with him, and never fails to remind us of that. He doesn't seem to know exactly why, so I see nothing wrong with him pondering if that is the reason why... in some ways it might be irrelevant, but it isn't if he is right!

Linda just likes to play the victim. She is constantly goading Jim, and if he bites then it is 'woe is me' from Linda. Pathetic behaviour from a grown woman.

Before entering the house, I neither disliked or liked Jim or Linda... Now I am in full support of Jim BECAUSE of the disgusting way Linda has behaved towards him.

Reading the dressing room story on the internet and found a comment I had to share.....

Incidentally... the Nolans AND Frank Carson? Is that the world's ****test gig? All you'd need to complete the Irish tragedy would be Michael Flatley doing a bit of riverdancing.

Brilliant.

Jim had a show that Frank Carson was appearing in. Lindas hubby was there as well and he was caught on camera stealing £20 from franks wallet. Jim was involved and he was arrested. Later in a pub he got into it with Lindas hubby and Linda fell out with him that day. She had him evicted and holds a grudge because she blames Jim for getting her hubby arrested and fined. Jim didn't get him arrested, the camera did and it was Jims show so I guess he was figurheading the incident but Jim didn't ask him to steal and Linda supporter her thief hubby and now wants to hound Jim for something her scammer hubby did.

Has it not crossed your mind why Linda is on benefits when her sisters and family are well off. They too have disowned her. She isn't a saint or blameless here, even if Jim should have done it with less deception.

Tonight Linda finally got what she's wanted. She has been drilling Jim non stop from day one, trying constantly to provoke him into an argument. So far Jim hasn't fallen into the trap and so far, no matter how hard Linda has tried - Jim has always walked away.

Tonight though he finally cracked. He made a bad choice in mentioning something upsetting from the past but to be honest he has done well to hold his tongue for so long.

She was really gunning for him - again - tonight for no reason other than wanting an argument. She drilled him over his totally normal question about Luisa being ok having no man, tried to turn everyone against him (as usual) then falsely accused Jim of calling her an asshole, which he never said.

If she hadn't been on his back all night (let alone the amount she has been on at him since before the show even started) then he never would have felt pushed to say anything at all!

She has started this whole argument since the show began, yet he has always been the one to try and make up and make light of it.

Then tonight - she went too far and also so did he.

The big difference between them though is that from the start - she has been constantly trying to have an argument with him and he has been constantly trying to avoid one with her.

Well that makes it even clearer so sampvt. It was actually Jim's show, so Linda's bitterness stems from there. I do think Jim was probably out of order in the pub. One usually doesn't get thrown out unless one is. I'm a recovering alcoholic for a decade now, but I do remember acting the clown in a lot of pubs. Nonetheless if somebody whom I wronged back then, couldn't let it go, and I knew that they weren't as blameless as they'd like to think ... I'd be very tempted to tell the world why they really hated me.

All in all, it seems Jim's been quite honourable in holding his tongue for so long.

Was Jim involved in the Frank Carson story? Like there when it happen and somehow involved in the incident? If he was, and Linda resents him for something to do with it then fair enough, but if Jim had nothing whatsoever to do with it, then it was a pretty low blow, but that in no way excuses Linda's behavior tonight.

Exactly,She's had a grudge against him for years and she won't let it drop even in the house. She's been picking at him since they entered. If she can't let it stay in the past then he has every right to expose why. They should have both left it where it belongs,In the past and tried to forget it for the 3 weeks they have to live together.I think the producers of the show probably knew it would cause drama aswell.

They were sparring as usual thanks to the drink but jim stuck the knife in and gave it a 360 twist.
It was screamingly obvious his intent was to hurt her whilst seemingly blameless due to his act of wide eyed bewilderment when confronted.

Linda should have just been civil with Jim....she has pushed and prodded at his every move. She had no need to make that comment to Jim...he was talking to Luisa and asked her a simple question...and she snapped at him for being sexist???... now its backfired...or has it? Did she want to goad him to make him look bad?.
IMO she has dealt with it all the wrong way....

"asked her a simple question" Jim knew exactly what he was doing and I don't see how the **** anyone's defending him

Default £20?

When did this happen? It seems ridiculous that someone is arrested over £20. It must have been way back for £20 to be worth stealing. Anyway Linda just loved everyone round her bed feeling sorry for her, cant stand her, shes a manipulative cow

If you notice, she does it all the time. Needles Jim, then goes to the group to bitch about him. Cries. God, that woman is a master manipulator and everyone is falling for it.

It happened well before many of the forum members were born, over 25 freekin years ago. That's a long time to hold a grudge.
