Inspired by the superhero thread, over the last 10-15 years who have been represented as protagonists in hollywood cinema?
Been mulling this over since my daughter pointed out that since space jam there hasn't been a sportsman used as the hero in a film. Is there a film where the hero doesn't shoot anyone, is 'undead' or a white male 20-40?

Zero Dark Thirty.
Someone does get shot at the end (sorry for spoiler), but the protagonist didn't pull the trigger.
