If she's getting bullied then that's her own problem. This isn't the school playground she's a grown woman, either confront those doing it head on or make a complaint to Big Brother, otherwise people are well in their rights to believe she's playing the victim.

Seems to me it makes her a strong women who won't give the bullies the satisfaction of breaking her.

Apart from Jale, are you saying that if an adult doesn't confront a bully they deserve that kind of treatment?

She got me angry when Helen had a go at her about the lip balm, and she just stood there apologiesing to Helen (she had nothing to apologies for) and then walked off.

If she's not gonna stand up for herself then no one else is gonna do it for her, if she did start standing up for herself then she would become popular in the house.

It's a hard thing to stand up for yourself when you're suddenly a complete outsider. I was very young when I was bullied, I would react very differently today... but at the time I felt powerless and utterly alone. I actually think Jale's handling it really well, but it doesn't alter the fact that the behaviour being displayed by a group of them in there is classic bullying, led by Pauline and propped up by Helen and to an extent, Toya. Jale must know that BB would never let it go too far, but it must be a horrible feeling when she's not actually done anything wrong.

But it wouldnt be one onto one Helen has lots of back up with Pauline,Steven,Toya, Kim,Ash,Ashleigh.....Jales not going to risk taking her on until the number dwindle then I think she will

If that still is your interpretation then I'll clarify for you. I seriously couldn't give a shining sh*te if she's being bullied or not I just don't care that much about the BB contestants these days.

The main point I was trying to make was that you cant blame people for thinking she's trying to get through the game playing the victim when she doesn't stand up for herself when being verbally attacked.

I'd love for her to stand up for herself more, but it's not as simple as that. If you don't have high confidence, or if you're feeling intimidated because of the situation, it's not so easy to fight back. That doesn't mean she's fair game or deserves it.

And even confident people who do fight back can be bullied. I highly doubt it would suddenly stop just because she argues back.

I understand what your saying, however she's in an environment where she can stand up for herself, the gang are not gonna give her a gang beating because she confronts them, not on national TV.

Bullies will only victimize somebody who allows them to get away with it.

If anything it would probably make it worse if she argued back. It would only give them more ammo and they would use her retalliation as an excuse to justify their behaviour towards her.

Plus if she argued back, it would make it look like a 50/50 argument which it isn't. Right now it's 100% from them. Her quietness is making it very obvious who the aggressors are.

In that sense, she is dealing with it perfectly by not falling into their trap. Retalliation is EXACTLY what they want her to do.

It's still not pleasant to watch though. Put yourself in Jale's shoes and it's a horrible place to be, whether you call it bullying or not.

I love how a lot of people are forgetting how Jale ostracized herself on her first proper night in the house, and saying how she doesn't connect with any of them.

Yes they've been rude to her (not bullied there is a difference) but people should admit Jale's faults in this as well instead of turning her into a saint like people did with Jim Davidson in the last CBB.

No, but people go too far. Then they are bullies.
If you make another person's life so bad (& in that house it must be very claustrophobic) then yes, IMO you are a bully.
